Coming soon to a television screen near you (well, if you live in the UK that is – otherwise it’s coming soon to an illegal internet stream) is a fascinating looking project from Sky Arts, notable primarily because of its two stars. Jon Hamm and Daniel Radcliffe are teaming up to play younger and older versions of the same person in the miniseries, “A Young Doctor’s Notebook,” and the first clip from the show has surfaced online alongside a batch of short promos.

Over in the U.K., Sky’s television channels are beginning to challenge the traditional powerhouses (BBC, ITV and Channel 4) when it comes to commissioning original comedy and drama. They’ve moved a lot quicker in producing strong comedies by attracting the likes of Chris O’Dowd, Armando Iannucci and Steve Coogan (who provided the channel with brand new Alan Partridge content), Charlie Brooker and Ruth Jones over to their channels, and they’re slowly starting to do the same with original drama.

Quickly announced earlier this year, we had pretty much entirely forgotten about the Jon Hamm and Daniel Radcliffe team-up in the miniseries "A Young Doctor's Notebook." But not only has it already shot, it airs next month in the U.K. and fresh images have been unveiled for your eyeballs.
