Alec Baldwin is certainly not wasting any time in filling up his calendar now that the debacle that is "Men In Black 3" is behind him, and "30 Rock" will be wrapping up soon for the season. He's already signed on for the indie "Lucky Them" with Marisa Tomei, Thomas Haden Church and Allison Janney (that will shoot later this year), not to mention the mega-musical "Rock Of Ages," and it looks like once he's done singing and dancing this spring, he'll take a trip over to Italy.

While "The Last Exorcism" couldn't muster up a decent scare and "The Virginity Hit" was a non-starter, Huck Botko -- who wrote the former and wrote/directed the latter -- seems to be making a step into feature films that have a budget that requires more than running around with a handheld camera.

Ooof. As if the woes around "Men In Black 3" couldn't get worse --- with a ballooning $200 million budget, an unfinished script, writers who aren't talking to producers and a massive production delay -- the film is now losing actors.

Hint: It Was Probably Harrison FordIn a column for the Huffington Post, Alec Baldwin turned what was supposed to be a piece telling Charlie Sheen to show some remorse and beg to get his job back on "Two And A Half Men," into a much more interesting story about how he lost out on the Jack Ryan franchise after "The Hunt For Red October."

While audiences this weekend didn't seem too eager to travel back to the 1980s as "Take Me Home Tonight" scrapes the bottom of the top ten, Hollywood is going to take another swing at the decade with a big musical; three more names have come aboard "Rock Of Ages," joining Tom Cruise.

Jude Law, Alec Baldwin, Isla Fisher Also Among Cast, Leonardo DiCaprio Out; 'Rabbit Hole' Scribe David Lindsay-Abaire Penning The ScreenplayFor over a decade now, DreamWorks Animation have been consistently behind Pixar in their output: films like of "Shark Tale," "Monsters Vs. Aliens" and the "Shrek" sequels substitute star voices, bombastic action sequences and already-past-their-sell-by-date pop culture gags for heart and soul, to increasingly diminishing returns. But, to their credit, the company seem keen to change things, bringing on big creative names to aid their newer projects: Guillermo Del Toro will serve as executive producer on many of the company's new films, and top-flight writers like Charlie Kaufman and Noah Baumbach are writing sequels to "Kung Fu Panda" and "Madagascar."

"Rock of Ages" may not have anybody officially on board yet, but it's not for lack of trying. Will Ferrell, Katy Perry, Seth Rogen, Taylor Swift, Tom Cruise, Alec Baldwin and Gwyneth Paltrow have all been linked or rumored at various stages (Rogen recently laughed off those reports) over the past half year or so in what the filmmakers hope will be a star-studded, musical extravaganza. Well, yet another big name is now being thrown into the mix.
