Watch: Trailer For Matheiu Demy's 'Americano' Stars A Half-Clothed Salma Hayek

The last time we reported about Mathieu Demy's debut feature "Americano," it was about to premiere at TIFF last September in hopes of finding American distribution. It looks like it found it with MPI Media Group, who is releasing the film in limited release this weekend. With days left before its release, a new trailer has arrived.

Growing up, Mathieu Demy was certainly no stranger to the film world. The actor is the son of legendary filmmakers Agnes Varda and Jacques Demy, and his own foray in front of the camera has found him in such features as “God is Great, But I’m Not,” “Aram” and “The Girl On The Train.” However, Demy is ready to follow in the footsteps of his parents and is headed to TIFF this week to show off his directorial debut, "Americano." This past spring we unveiled the first look at the project, and with its world premiere now looming, we've got some more images and two clips to give you a taste of what's to come.

It's always said that when it comes to breaking into the film industry, it's not what you know, but who you know, and it's hard to deny that nepotism is rife in the industry. But when it's meant that talents like Sofia Coppola, Nicolas Cage, Peter Fonda, Drew Barrymore, John Huston and, uh, Clint Howard, to name but a few, it's hard to complain too much. Today we've obtained an exclusive first image of a project that utilizes a number of members of famous filmmaking families, and it's looking pretty promising.
