There is probably no greater raconteur or actor you'd want to talk to more than Terence Stamp. Seriously, just read this interview we did with him at the tail end of last year -- dude knows how to tell a story. And recently, he regaled an audience in the U.K. with a few more tales following a screening of his latest film, "Song For Marion." And the actor dropped of couple intriguing nuggets that are worth a mention.

With filming set to begin on "Anchorman: The Legend Continues" later this spring, it's only a matter of time before the lid is torn off all the surprises that are in store for the long-awaited return of Ron Burgundy and his newsteam. And while the core group of players are set to reprise their roles, it looks like one very, very funny face is joining the gang.

It's been about six years in the making -- or at least it seems like they've been talking about it that long -- but a pipedream comedy is not only finally happening, it now has a concrete release date.

From simply the briefest of glances at actress Kristen Wiig's film career post-'SNL,' any hesitance on her part toward that decision should now be erased by the abundance of potential roles she has on deck. Since starring in indie comedy “Imogene” which premiered at TIFF in the fall (review here), she's sidestepped any return to the “Bridesmaids” well for more intriguing fare, such as the ensemble comedy-drama "Hateship, Friendship," but now she may be prepared to take a turn in another major comedy franchise's sandbox instead.

Here is what we do know: Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, David Koechner, Steve Carell and Christina Applegate will be back for "Anchorman 2." Fred Willard? Probably not. But there are a whole host of supporting and incidental characters from the first film who could all theoretically dip their toes into the follow-up. And it looks like Ron Burgundy's biggest rival will be on his heels again.

After Will Ferrell dressed up as Ron Burgundy and announced that "Anchorman 2" was a reality (sending an army of "Anchorman" fans into hysterics), the first plot detail that co-writer/director Adam McKay revealed was that it might contain a custody battle and, possibly, "bowling for dollars." The former would assume that Christina Applegate was set to return as Veronica Corningstone to have some kind of custody battle with Burgundy, yet when the teaser poster and two teaser trailers arrived, only Ferrell, Paul Rudd, Steve Carell and David Koechner appeared. Not to worry, Applegate will be returning as well.

We've long lamented the evolution of Adam Sandler from the guy who made us laugh with stupid-funny stuff like "Billy Madison" and "Happy Gilmore" to the guy who basically gets paid vacations in dreck like "Just Go With It" and "Grown Ups." But every now and then, Sandler will lift his pudgy frame off the couch and actually try. Hopefully, pairing him up with the nimble and constantly improvising Will Ferrell will help him step up his game.

Starring the beloved Channel 4 news team, Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, Steve Carell and David Koechner, if you had any concerns about the original team not fully reuniting for "Anchorman 2," you can now officially put them to bed.

While it would be unfair to call it the worst kept secret in the movie universe, it's something that most movie bloggers know -- and something a few of them have already reported on, though there's been little concrete information thus far. A teaser trailer for "Anchorman 2" will appear in front of Sacha Baron Cohen's upcoming comedy "The Dictator," which opens next Wednesday, May 16th. Confirmed? Nope. But feel free to bet the farm on Odin's Raven. You can have the keys to our blog if it doesn't happen (cool, right guys?).
