Larry King To Be A Recurring Character On The Cartoon ShowOh hey, so in case you forgot, Arnold Schwarzenegger's first project out of office is incredibly lame sounding "The Governator." First announced last week, the brewing franchise (seriously) will span comic books and television with Arnie reimagined as a crime-fighting former politician (sigh) who has his own Bat-cave sort of thing under his mansion, is assisted by a techie security guy named Zeke Muckerberg and squares off against Gangsters Imposters Racketeers Liars & Irredeemable Ex-cons (or G.I.R.L.I.E. Men, for short). It sounds like Stan Lee, who is helping develop this thing, didn't see one bad idea he couldn't use and now this mess of awfulness is being developed into a movie.

We wish we were joking, we really do, but it looks like Arnold Schwarzenegger is going to milk that Governator title until it's bone dry.

Let's take a trip back in time shall we? Back in the summer of 2009, Tom Arnold said -- either sarcastically or delusionally -- about a possible "True Lies 2" that, "All I know is Jim Cameron’s making it and Arnold [Schwarzenegger] and I are going to be in it, and it starts shooting in 14 months, the day after Arnold stops being governor of California. It’s not going to be called ‘True Lies II,’ but it might as well be. I can live with that." Well, that time has since passed and either Arnold was lying, joking or hoping (probably somewhere in the middle of that). Anyway, he recently chatted with Movieweb (via /Film) and once again made some bold claims.

Governator Also Packaging A Comic Book Movie That Will Be Announced Very SoonThe Governator's reign in office is over, and the last action hero is gearing up to return to the big screen. Earlier this year, the actor revealed that he was beginning to look over scripts including one that many speculated was the long brewing WWII pic "With Wings As Eagles" but it turns out the offers have been flooding.

It's only a few weeks since bodybuilder-turned-actor-turned-politician Arnold Schwarzenegger gave up the governorship of California, having done to the state's economy what he did to Gabriel Byrne at the end of "End of Days," and to the English language for over thirty years. With his seven-year day job only allowing for cameos in "Around The World In 80 Days," and in last year's "The Expendables," the last time we saw him in a lead role was "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines," and rumors have been flying recently that former-Governor Schwarzenegger was considering a return to what we'll generously call 'acting.'

The Never-Happened Fake-Trailer Was Supposed To Star Stallone, Schwarzenegger & WillisAlright, we're on IndieWire now (hold on, don't groan, there is a point to this) and before the move this interesting could-have-been tidbit got lost in the moving shuffle. You'll recall earlier this month Austin filmmaker Robert Rodriguez took part in a Facebook livechat and it was there he revealed that "Sin City 2" would be the follow-up film after "Spy Kids 4: All the Time in the World," not "Deadpool" (and obviously that was his way of saying. "I'm passing" as Swedish filmmaker Adam Berg appears to be the frontrunner for the directing gig).
