Better Call Saul
Previously scheduled to launch this fall, AMC has been feeling so good about their "Breaking Bad" spinoff "Better Call Saul," that they upped the order to twenty-three episodes, across two seasons. The bad news is that this means the show won't be hitting screens until early 2015, but the extra time means that creator/writer Vince Gilligan and his team have more opportunity to really flesh out the world of the show. And while details have tended to lean more heavily toward speculation than concrete fact, we now know the setting of "Better Call Saul."

We may be waiting on “Better Call Saul” a little longer than we expected to – the series premiere was bumped from this fall to early next year – but the need for news on the “Breaking Bad” spin-off waits for no one.

Better Caul Saul
The story of Walter White and Heisenberg may be over, but we’ll still be seeing more of the seedy underbelly of Albuquerque, New Mexico on our TV screens thanks to the Saul Goodman-centric prequel spinoff “Better Call Saul.” Although we last heard the show was aiming for a November premiere, we may have to wait a little longer to see our favorite sleazy criminal lawyer.

Breaking Bad
While the rumor machine remains high on "Better Call Saul," and actual details low, this much we do know: some of the "Breaking Bad" writers are back for this spinoff, Bob Odenkirk is reprising his role in the lead (obviously), and now his regular fixer is back.

Breaking Bad Jonathan Banks
Even with "Breaking Bad" fading into the sunset, taking with it the legacy of being one of the best shows to ever grace the small screen, fans will be dropped back into that world again soon enough. Back in September, AMC greenlit the tentatively titled "Better Call Saul" centering on the ambulance chasing lawyer played by Bob Odenkirk. And while exact details of the show aren't yet known, it hasn't taken long for Vince Gilligan to tease that it will overlap with "Breaking Bad," suggesting Walt and Jesse could have cameos. And that's not all.

Saul Goodman Spin-off
If you’re still mourning the loss of “Breaking Bad,” cheer up, because Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould are gearing up to bring you back to the ABQ through the Saul Goodman spin-off “Better Call Saul.” While the show was originally announced as a prequel, it appears that some discussions have been had about possibly being a bit more fluid with the show’s timeline, which certainly meshes with reports that doors will be left open for Walter White and Jesse Pinkman to cameo.

Now that “Breaking Bad” has reached its end with less vitriol than normal for a series finale, the focus naturally shifts to its creator Vince Gilligan's next move, and also how well the show's legacy can be protected. As it turns out his next project will address both, as Gilligan has hopped onboard the Saul Goodman prequel “Better Call Saul” for AMC, and aside from bringing back Bob Odenkirk in the lead role, a new article suggest that we haven't seen the last of Walt and Jesse either.

Saul Goodman Spin-off
Confirming that there is still something good left in the universe, AMC has officially given the green light to a new series based around the Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) character from their insanely popular crime drama "Breaking Bad." The one-hour comedic drama will serve as a prequel to the events of "Breaking Bad," and has been given the tentative title "Better Call Saul." "Breaking Bad" mastermind Vince Gilligan and writer/producer Peter Gould, who created the character for a season 2 episode of the show, will serve as show-runners. While the thoughts of failed spin-offs are running through our head ("After M*A*S*H" anyone?), we can't help but get excited about the prospect of this series.
