With Blumhouse having a great weekend with "Insidious: Chapter 2" destroying the box office, leading to near instant development on a third movie, the horror house is barely stopping to take a breath. They've announced yet another scare flick with a one word title beginning the letter "I"—"Incarnate."

Take this with the biggest grain of salt you can find (we suggest the Salt District of your local urban center), but Comic Book Movie is exclusively reporting that Warner Bros. is "kicking around" the idea of using Lobo in their forthcoming "Justice League" movie. We can't help but zero in on the intentionally vague phrasing of the report. "Kicking around" could amount to one executive saying "Hey, what about putting Lobo in 'Justice League'?" only to have the rest of the room ask "Who is Lobo?" And then whip him with towels or something.

No stranger to film adaptations, John Grisham is set to get another check in the mail courtesy of Chris Columbus, who has officially signed on to write and direct the adaptation of the author's “Calico Joe.” The novel, released earlier this year, revolves around the world of baseball and involves a nearly fatal pitch thrown in August 24, 1973 and its implications 30 years later on both the batter, “Calico Joe” Caste, and the pitcher, Warren Tracey. Hopefully this film can match the quality of the last year’s baseball movie, “Moneyball.” [Variety]
