Kit Harington (“Game of Thrones”) and Jennifer Ehle (“Zero Dark Thirty”) have both signed on to star in “Spooks: The Greater Good,” a big-screen adaptation of the BBC TV spy drama “Spooks.” The film will be helmed by Bharat Nalluri, who directed multiple episodes of the British series, and Peter Firth will reprise his role as Harry Pearce from the show.

We recently got to chat with the lovely and talented Saoirse Ronan about her upcoming young adult adaptation "How I Live Now" (review here), which is kind of like what would have happened if Terrence Malick had directed "Red Dawn" (more from that interview soon). And while we had the young actress on the line, we had to quiz her about a myriad of upcoming projects she has in the works, everything from the upcoming Wes Anderson joint "The Grand Budapest Hotel," to Ryan Gosling's directorial debut "How to Catch A Monster," to things that are in a more nebulous state of flux, like Joe Wright's "Little Mermaid" and the hotly rumored "Fantastic Four" and "Star Wars: Episode VII."

The last thing we heard about the big screen adaptation of Colm Toibin's "Brooklyn" was well over a year ago. At that time Rooney Mara was going to play the lead in the Nick Hornby-penned flick, with a shoot planned for spring 2013. Clearly, that didn't happen. But the project is still alive with a new lead and a new director.

And the hits just keep on coming for Rooney Mara. Just a day after she signed up for a role in Spike Jonze's untitled upcoming movie, she's now landed another project that will find the actress at the front and center of a big league book adaptation.
