With the news late last week that director Walter Hill's remake of “Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?” has found financing, that now makes two recent project yearning for better days. Gearing up for release next year, the Sylvester Stallone actioner “Bullet To The Head” has already shown via a first trailer that the film's has an uphill battle, but now a second look is hoping to reverse that perspective.

With "The Expendables 2" opening this weekend, its stars are using the opportunity to pimp their other forthcoming movies. Earlier today, Arnie got the lead out with a trailer for "The Last Stand," that while totally rote, was at least identifiably a straight faced action movie. And now, Sylvester Stallone drops "Bullet To The Head"....and we don't know what to think.

Update: Well, turns out Walter Hill is still very much at the helm of this one as Sylvester Stallone tells AICN that those rumors are "an egregious lie, I have nothing to do with the editing to BULLET TO THE HEAD.  Walter is doing a FANTASTIC job!  I think it is a FANTASTIC job and he's editing it!" Still no word on why the movie got yanked off the calendar though...

We know you must have been tearing your hair out about this for months -- which movie would you choose to see first on the weekend of April 13th. Would you go with Drew Goddard and Joss Whedon's intriguing "The Cabin in the Woods," the eagerly anticipated (by Razzies voters) "The Three Stooges," or Sly Stallone's latest steroid-fest "Bullet To The Head"? Well, Warner Bros have decided to make it slightly easier for us as they've delivered a bullet to the head of Stallone's film, temporarily at least, by pulling it from the schedule.

Looks like Warner Bros. have rejigged their 2012 calendars a bit with the Todd Phillips-masterminded "Project X" and Sylvester Stallone's teaming with Walter Hill for "Bullet To The Head" now due to unveil in the first quarter of 2012.
