The 'Burbs
Tom Hanks is two time Oscar winning actor who has been nominated five times. He won for "Forrest Gump" and "Philadelphia" and was nom'd for "Cast Away," "Big" and "Saving Private Ryan.” Some will even say he was robbed of a six nomination this year for “Captain Phillips,” that last scene alone being rather Oscar-worthy on its own. But imagine that there’s a generation out there that might not realize how far he’s come and remember that way back when, he was a pretty silly (but still awesome) comedian. The TV show “Bosom Buddies” lead to great comedy roles in "Splash," the severely underrated "The Money Pit," "Volunteers" and "Bachelor Party." In fact, it was hard to throw a rock five feet in the 1980s and not hit a comedy that Hanks was involved in. In 1988, “Big” was the first serio-comic role that earned him respect and his first Oscar nomination, but a year later one of his best and now beloved comedies arrived in the form of Joe Dante’s cult comedy “The ‘Burbs.

Review: Insipid, Painful Rom-Com 'A Case Of You' Starring Evan Rachel Wood & Justin Long

It was only a matter of time before someone tried to fully exploit the social media age for the evils of the generic romantic comedy and "A Case Of You," a new Justin Long-led rom-com, does just that; abusing the Facebook platform to create the first FB stalker comedy. Somehow, everything creepy and vile in this Kat Coiro-directed comedy ("L!fe Happens") is meant to seem comically cute and not the restraining-order freaky that it clearly is. Like all of these meretricious and morally reprehensible culture-farts, it’s presented as harmless and adorable at heart, but as the central quintessentially dorky character becomes more and more fawning and subservient, the actors themselves seem to border on queasiness.

Naturally, when a film as hotly anticipated as “Star Wars: Episode VII” is mired in secrecy, all we have is speculation. Will the original cast be back? Will there be more Ewoks? The questions are endless. But, Carrie Fisher and Ian McDiarmid are two people who are more than happy to take part in such gossip. They, of course, played Princess Leia and Emperor Palpatine in the series.

George Lucas Confirms Negotiations For Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher & Harrison Ford For 'Star Wars: Episode 7'
So, let's just recap where we're at. In February, we saw a lot of chatter start surfacing about the original "Star Wars" cast returning for "Star Wars: Episode 7" with Harrison Ford reportedly confirmed, Carrie Fisher seemingly saying she was back too (though her rep now says she was joking) while Mark Hamill stated he actually hadn't signed yet. All of this talk was further buoyed when more news surfaced that said the trio were indeed coming back, and the plot for 'Episode 7' would center on their children. In short, there has been a lot of signs pointing in the direction they'll be back, but not much in the way of official word. Well, George Lucas himself has now commented.

There have been a number of questions and rumors surrounding “Star Wars: Episode VII” ever since its original announcement, especially regarding the cast. After it was announced last month that Harrison Ford will most likely be returning to play Han Solo, the attention then turned to whether or not Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher would be returning as well. While we’ve already heard rumors that they might come back, Fisher herself has recently confirmed that she will indeed be coming back to the franchise.

Last week's news that Harrison Ford could be returning to reprise the role of Han Solo in J.J Abrams' "Star Wars Episode VII" was, if true, big news for fans of the franchise. It means that there'll be clear continuity between the classic films and the new ones, and means that there'll be a chance for them to see arguably the most beloved character in the franchise on the big screen, played by the man who embodied him, before the mooted Solo-centric prequel.

Even as one fire or two has been quelled, a few more nuggets have been dropped that have started a near-feeding frenzy of rumor and 2+2=5 conjecture.
