Pixar Debuts Brand New 'Cars' Short On Disney Movies Anywhere Platform

Recently Disney launched their ambitious Disney Movies Anywhere platform, a kind of virtual locker that allows you access to all of your favorite Disney movies that syncs with your iTunes account and occasionally offers you exclusive behind-the-scenes material or, in this case, a brand new animated “Cars” short entitled “The Radiator Springs 500 ½.” As long as you’ve got a Disney Movies Anywhere account you can watch it for free, right now. And it’s pretty damn cute.

Today, Walt Disney honcho Bob Iger got on the phone with investors, and gave them updates on the kind of stuff they want to hear about: sequels. Yep, sequels means throwing money after proven success instead of risking it on new territory, and those with a stake in the company got some good news on what's coming down the pike.
