While the Sundance Film Festival has been criticized as being more star-driven in recent years, it's easy to forget that for true blue indie films, recognition and reaction from Park City can make a career (or two). And writer/director Evan Glodell is certainly testament to that as he arrived at the fest in 2011 with his distinctly homemade, undeniably unique and apocalyptic "Bellflower." The movie created a stir that followed it to festivals around the world including stops at SXSW, Fantastia, Sitges, Leeds and many more. Oscilloscope Laboratories picked up and released the movie to solid critical praise, undoubtedly opening many doors for Glodell and the team behind the movie. But for their next effort, they are once again keeping things close to home.
