Captain America: The Winter Soldier
Okay, so you've seen "Guardians Of The Galaxy" at least once, and the next Marvel movie will be 2015's "The Avengers: Age Of Ultron." How will you get your superhero movie fix until then?

The Rover
If Joe Swanberg can go Hollywood, working with folks like Jake Johnson, Olivia Wilde and Anna Kendrick on recent projects, then so too can fellow mumblecore director Andrew Bujalski. The "Mutual Appreciation" and "Computer Chess" director has quietly started putting his next movie together, and it features a pretty killer lineup of talent, with names you'll recognize, for what sounds like a pretty promising project.

They Came Together
A parody that loves, knows and understands what it’s mocking, David Wain’s “They Came Together” (co-written with Michael Showalter) lovingly nuzzles up to the plots, clichés and tropes of the modern big-studio rom-com specifically, only to then slash at the jugular to spill their anemic, overly sweet blood. It knows how to mock cliché big things, like jokes about set-dressing and music video montages; it’s also wise about small matters, right down to the font and the framing device.

Review: ‘Delivery Man’ Starring Vince Vaughn, Cobie Smulders & Chris Pratt

Delivery Man
Few actors carry the ability of Vince Vaughn in conveying an unique type of smooth-talking weariness, but 51 films into his career that expression has seeped over into the work itself. The jittery wiseguys of “Swingers” and “Return to Paradise” have aged into truly desperate futures; the films that they now inhabit carry only a high-concept logline, a new, forgettable occupation for Vaughn to try, and hopefully a few laughs to render the whole thing serviceable. To the credit of “Delivery Man,” which sees NYC schlub David Wozniak (Vaughn) discovering that his old sperm bank haunt has erred and resulted in 533 of his biological children being produced, Vaughn’s occupation is a little more memorable this time.

With Marvel now boasting a couple of billion dollar movies under their belt, the ever-growing movie studio is now stretching their tentacles outside the summer season and into the fall, and onto the small screen as well. And with "Thor: The Dark World" and "Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D." both arriving in the coming months, comic book fans won't be left waiting long for their next dose of spandex.

The Delivery Man
While we'll allow the mental leap of a single man's sperm donation(s) resulting in fathering 533 children, for the sake of a comedy premise, does it result in something good? Canadians gave a thumbs up the French language "Starbuck," and that's film's co-writer and director Ken Scott was brought in to helm the remake, "Delivery Man." Yes, it's another Vince Vaughn everyman movie, but can he rebound from the tepid "The Internship"?

She might be contractually obliged to see out at least one more season of “How I Met Your Mother,” but like the rest of the show’s cast, Cobie Smulders looks like she has a career on the big screen to look forward to once we finally find out who Ted Mosby knocked up. Smulders of course showed up in “The Avengers” last year as Maria Hill – a character who has a lot of scope to develop if the comics are anything to go by – and we’re probably going to see a lot more of her as Marvel’s Phase Two kicks into gear.
