2001: A Space Odyssey
Over the past while, we've given you lots of intriguing looks back at Stanley Kubrick's still awe-inspiring "2001: A Space Odyssey." There's been a 3-minute video tribute, a vintage 20-minute making of, and the rare 1970 book about the film, along with 5 Things You Didn't Know. But how about a chance to see the movie on the big screen in 70mm? It's a rare opportunity, but for those of you in New York City, we can make that happen.

Dance Of Reality
It has been over two decades since Alejandro Jodorowsky directed a feature film. But he's back with "The Dance Of Reality," and he hasn't missed a step with his distinctive approach to cinema. It's a film we called it a "joyous, absurdist melange of highbrow concepts, personal memoir and potty humor" — in short, it's a Jodorowsky joint and the synopsis below is just the starting point of what he's bringing to the table this time around.

Under The Skin
The word "mindblowing" is tossed around a lot, particularly during the summer season when blockbusters bring forth expensive, explosion filled spectacles. But few movies this year will truly define that term, and certainly none of them will be as unique and distinctive as Jonathan Glazer's "Under The Skin." A film we named as one of The Best Films Of 2014 So Far..., if you missed it on the big screen, you'll soon be able to catch up with it at home.

Contest: Win 'Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom' DVD/Blu-ray Combo Pack

Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom
Though the epic drama about the life of anti-Apartheid activist and politician didn't make into the Oscar mix in the way some might have thought, "Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom" is still worth a watch to understand the struggles and victories of a man who made history in South Africa. And with the leader passing away in December, perhaps now more than ever is the time for those unfamiliar with his legacy to start learning about where it all again. Read More »
