Clear History
“Adventureland” director Greg Mottola has made himself something of a second home on television. He spent the early part of the new millennium directing episodes of shows like “Undeclared” and “Arrested Development,” and last year he directed a few episodes of HBO series “The Newsroom.” For his next film, he’s sticking with the legendary cable network, delivering the comedy “Clear History,” and a teaser for the film has arrived online.

After spinning its wheels for the last couple of seasons, "Dexter" ended season six with a helluva cliffhanger, with the lead serial killer's cop sister literally catching him in the act. As we already know, season seven will begin right where we left off (in case you missed it, you can watch the first two minutes of the first episode here). Now, a new trailer has dropped for the upcoming season, and it appears that Dexter will be playing a game of cat and mouse to keep the depths of his crimes under wraps.

As piss-poor as "Dexter" has been for most of the last couple of seasons, the show did at least leave off Season Six with a killer cliffhanger, one the show had been building towards since the opening. Just as our friendly neighborhood forensic scientist/serial killer puts the killing blow into the season's big bad, Travis Marshall (Colin Hanks), his adopted sister Debra (who had earlier realized that she was in love with him; don't ask...) walked in on him.

In the world of “Dexter,” where the protagonist is a serial killer, the term "bad guy" is kind of relative. But regardless, Dexter has come up against a fair few of them throughout the show's six seasons. Still going strong over on Showtime, "Dexter" is now gearing up for its seventh season (while the eighth has also already been commissioned) and has lined up a solid name to play that season’s big baddie.
