Despite the dead-on-arrival 2010 film, it seems “The Wolfman” is being revived for the small screen, thanks in no small part to successful shows like the FOX show “Sleepy Hollow,” NBC’s “Dracula” or any of the other dozens of vampire-centric, fairy tale-esque, horror-tinged shows currently on air.

Paramount president Adam Goodman: the interview that keeps on giving. The Hollywood Reporter spoke to the Paramount chief in the May 4th issue of their magazine, and the good man revealed something you're likely already aware of: Shia LaBeouf is not coming back to Micheal Bay's "Transformers" franchise and whatever "Transformers 4" will turn into (a sorta-reboot, a sequel, prequel, Tyrese franchise, whatever).

Given the monstrous success of the "Pirates Of The Caribbean" franchise, it's no surprise that Disney has been ramping up development on other movies-based-on-rides. You asked for this people. Last summer, they added a movie inspired by the Matternhorn to the pile that also includes a potential Tom Hanks and Tim Allen re-team for "Jungle Cruise," Guillermo del Toro's "The Haunted Mansion," Jon Favreau and Michael Chabon's "Magic Kingdom" and even something about The Enchanted Tiki Room. Anyway, it looks like the studio continues to climb up the mountain.

Tyrese Gibson Dreams Of Being On A Steven Spielberg SetLet the "controversy" continue. Weeks after Shia LaBeouf claimed that Megan Fox's "Spice Girl strength" and her desire to be more than drapery with breasts and a butt on the set of the "Transformers" movies eventually got her booted by director Michael Bay. But the helmer of the robots-fighting-each-other movies now has his own slightly different version of what went down.

First Look At 'Trespass'; New Films From Jennifer Lynch, Dennis Iliadis & Niels Arden OplevEven though "Fangland" with Hilary Swank seems to have fallen apart, John Carpenter seems well on his way with a new project, an adaptation of the comic "Darkchylde." Created by Randy Queen, the comics follow "a young girl named Ariel Chylde who regularly sheds her skin and turns into her deepest, darkest nightmares." Richard Taylor of WETA recently dropped some test footage from the film (which you can watch below) and indicated they hope to get things going on the film within the year. We've never really paid much attention to the comic, and considering Carpenter hasn't made a film worth caring about in over a decade (this year's "The Ward" was dead-on-arrival at TIFF) we're finding it difficult to muster up too much excitement about this one. But in case dorks start complaining about the CGI in the WETA clip, it's test footage guys, nothing close to final, so relax.
