Plus Sundance Flicks 'Silent House,' 'Bengali Detective' & 'Circumstance' Find HomesWith Sundance on, it's sales time for studios and distributors, as everyone in town competes to pick up the next would-be indie phenomenon. In what's been a more lively market for acquisitions than in recent years (albeit with few "Happy, Texas"--style big money sales), pictures such as "Like Crazy," "Homework," "Marcie Martha May Marlene" and "The Ledge" have all found homes, along with documentaries "Life in a Day" and "Page One."

There must be something in the cold mountain air of Park City that attracts the brightest young female talents. Just look at the recent track record of the Sundance Film Festival unveiling the newest Hollywood It girls: two years ago it was Carey Mulligan in "An Education," last year it was Jennifer Lawrence in "Winter's Bone" and this year, from all reports, it's the younger sister of the Olsen twins, Elizabeth Olsen.
