Some directing news to get y'all over that midweek hump. Screen Daily has two pieces of intriguing news for us: first up, Tobias Lindholm, director of the absolutely stellar “A Hijacking," has announced his new project, “The War,” about Danish soldiers in Afghanistan. Lindholm likes simple titles, it seems, and simple set-ups: “The War” will form the third part of a thematic trilogy about “desperate men in small rooms”, following on from “A Hijacking” and the even simpler “R” from 2010.

"Ghostbusters"
So much for shooting next summer, a timetable that was recently unveiled. "Ghostbusters 3" has been delayed yet again, and a decision on whether the film will go forward or not won't be reached until March of 2013, which means the earliest the film could shoot is next fall.

How much money do you have to spend before Bill Murray says "Yes"? That's the question Sony is hoping to eventually find an answer to as development on "Ghostbusters 3" improbably continues in the vain hope the studio can create a blockbuster 23 years after "Ghostbusters II" that will have audiences flocking to theaters. Hell, if they can make people care about "Men In Black 3" a decade after the second movie, anything is possible right?

If you visit Etan Cohen's IMDB page, it kindly reminds you that this man is not to be confused with another screenwriter, Ethan Cohen. Well good, we're glad that's cleared up, otherwise we might have been forced to come up with another lazy gag about them being different people. The page may need to be amended slightly now though, as not only is Etan Cohen a screenwriter, but he's set to become a fully fledged director too after signing on to helm "Boy Scouts vs. Zombies."

Jeff Nathanson To Do Time-Travel Section Polish On Top Of David Koepp and Etan Cohen; Film's Production Broken Into Two PartsAfter a few delays, "Men In Black 3D" or Men In Black 3," however you want to refer to it, starts production in New York tomorrow and right on time, Columbia Pictures has hired new writer Jeff Nathanson -- credits include "Catch Me If You Can" and "Rush Hour 2" -- to give another polish to the script. Wait how does that work? A film goes into production and you just hire a new writer?
