To say that Kate Hudson hasn’t lived up to her fullest potential in the past decade is a bit of an understatement; while she was great as the heartbreaking band aide Penny Lane in Cameron Crowe’s classic “Almost Famous,” she’s been mostly reduced to fare like “My Best Friend’s Girl,” "The Skeleton Key,” and “How To Lose A Guy in Ten Days” over the past few years. We’ll try to remember her more recent work in “The Killer Inside Me” over the abysmal trailer for “A Little Bit of Heaven,” but all that may not matter now as it looks as if Hudson is about to dramatically revamp her blonde bombshell image.
