What happens in the near future when an elderly man is given a robot to help him around the house? He plans a heist of course. That's the high concept premise of "Robot & Frank" a sci-fi/romance/heist flick that warmed the hearts of many when it premiered at Sundance earlier this year.

It has been a pretty good 2012 for Daniel Espinosa. The director made his Hollywood debut with the action flick "Safe House" starring Ryan Reynolds and Denzel Washington, and the R-rated movie exceeded expectations, taking more than $120 million at the U.S. box office on it's way to more than $200 million worldwide. So what does he get for an encore? How about Martin Scorsese presenting the stateside debut of the film that got you the attention of the industry in the first place?

Oh boy, for anyone who has been through a breakup where you still remain friends (raises hand), the trailer for "Celeste & Jesse Forever" will resonate loud and clear. But even if not, it promises a fresh take on the relationship rom-com.

It seems Adam Sandler has welcomed a new, young recruit into his stable of regulars, in the fresh-faced and funny Andy Samberg. The duo paired up in last weekend's wickedly unfunny "That's My Boy," and in case you missed it, Samberg recently stopped by the set of "Grown Ups 2" for a cameo. And now they've paired up once again, though you might not recognize them right away.

You would think that after having problems with Albanian mafia in "Taken," Bryan Mills might decide to kick back and relax in America...how about Hawaii? Not so. Instead he takes his wife to Istanbul, and Kim (Maggie Grace) pops her head in as a suprise and before you know it, half the script for "Taken 2" is written.

In the future, drugs are still a problem, everything looks like "Blade Runner," and dudes in helmets with consta-growl voices are the only measure of justice. Welcome to the world of "Dredd," the remake of the "The Raid" you didn't know you wanted.

It was just yesterday that we were wondering when 20th Century Fox was going to get the marketing ball rolling on "The Watch," the comedy starring Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Jonah Hill and Richard Ayoade. The tragic killing of Trayvon Martin made selling a movie about a rogue neighborhood watch crew a bit difficult for the studio, but this healthy, lengthy international trailer for the movie shows they could have a comic hit on their hands.

Well, the honeymoon's out of the way, the baby's been born, and now the marriage of Bella & Edward (Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson), the lead characters of the "Twilight" franchise, is going the same way as many other marriages -- into a series of fights. However, it's not the newlyweds who are arguing; it's the new Mr. & Mrs Cullen, along with Edward's family, and Jacob's pack of werewolves, against vampire authority the Volturi, who believe that their child Renesmee is an abomination, and needs to be destroyed. Which is all a long-winded way of saying that the first full teaser trailer for "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part Two" has arrived (to coincide with Edward's 111th birthday: you people do know he's a fictional character, right?), and it looks like it has the biggest scope of the series so far.

We'd hoped that last year's "Cars 2" was something of a blip on the Pixar track record. A disappointing film, to be sure, made to keep the merchandising behemoth alive (and it doesn't hurt that John Lasseter is an auto-nut), but we figured the studio's near-impeccable run of greatness would swiftly return. But the word on "Brave," which opens this week, has not been encouraging. Most of the reviews, including our own, have suggested that, while it's not as cynical as last year's Pixar entry, it's failed to meet the high standards we've come to expect from the animation giants.

It's almost impossible to discuss the "The Twilight Saga" franchise. Riddled with preposterous concepts, terrible dialogue, stilted acting, bargain-bin basement effects and unitentionally funny plotting,  you're still considered a hater if you're anything less than glowing about these pictures despite the fact that critics savage into them on a regular basis. Proof? The average score from the always generous and populist Rotten Tomatoes on all four films thus far is 37.7%.
