Depending on which side of the fence you're on, Brian De Palma hasn't made a good movie since the '90s, or he hasn't lost his touch. For everyone who dislikes a certain film, particularly recent pictures like "Femme Fatale" or "The Black Dahlia," there are just as many ready to find the merit and pleasures in the work. And judging by the first trailer for "Passion," that will probably be the case here.

So, is "End Of Watch" yet another familiar cop drama from David Ayer just dressed up in POV/found footage aesthetics or does it truly have something new to say about being a cop in Los Angeles? We'll find out soon enough, but as this new trailer bears out, it certainly won't be lacking energy.

Tom Hardy, Shia LaBeouf and Jason Clark are the Bondurant boys in the upcoming "Lawless." And as the trio sling moonshine as prohibition winds to a close, shifting tides of power put their operation and very lives at risk in John Hillcoat's both beautiful and brutal new film where blood and alcohol flow freely.

One of the best documentaries of the aughts? When we compiled a Top 25 list at the end of the past decade, among those chosen was Stacy Peralta's seminal skateboarding documentary "Dogtown and the Z Boys." if you loved that doc about the birth and evolution of modern skating in the drained swimming pools of Southern California (and you should), than you'll be more than interested in what we're calling its spiritual sequel, "The Bones Brigade: An Autobiography."

Another day, another trailer for a movie Nicolas Cage made over a weekend. Yesterday brought us "Stolen," Cage's "Taken"-in-a-taxi-cab movie, and today brings "Frozen Ground," with a rough/early spot leaking to the web, promising Vanessa Hudgens stripping and lots of glowering from Cage and his co-star John Cusack.

We've seen a few Spanish language spots for Juan Antonio Bayona's "The Impossible" but none have landed with quite the impact (forgive the pun) for the latest domestic spot, one that makes a serious case that we could be looking at an Oscar contender here. Certainly, Summit hopes so.

Like any successful distribution label should, Millennium Entertainment has accrued an instantly recognizable strain of action film with which their brand is linked, so when their logo pops up the trailer for their latest release “Stolen” -- and Jason Statham, Cuba Gooding Jr., or Clive Owen is nowhere in sight -- naturally there's only Nicolas Cage left to deliver the goods.

With "The Expendables 2" opening this weekend, its stars are using the opportunity to pimp their other forthcoming movies. Earlier today, Arnie got the lead out with a trailer for "The Last Stand," that while totally rote, was at least identifiably a straight faced action movie. And now, Sylvester Stallone drops "Bullet To The Head"....and we don't know what to think.

It’s been awhile since Winona Ryder, star of a vast array of films from “Edward Scissorhands” to “Girl Interrupted,” has really taken the lead in a picture – lately she’s mostly been a supporting player in films like “Black Swan,” “Star Trek,” and her upcoming reteaming with director Tim Burton on the stop-motion “Frankenweenie.” Unfortunately, if the trailer for her upcoming return to leading lady status “The Letter” is any indication of the film that follows, we’re not quite sure we’re ready to have her back.

As Channing Tatum has navigated Hollywood and impressively built his career along the way (three #1 movies in 2012, just sayin'), he's also amassed a helluva Rolodex. And it seems he's called in favors from everyone for "10 Years." The project, produced by Tatum, comes from “Dear John” and "We Are Marshall" writer Jamie Linden (who is also makes his directorial debut) and stars Jenna Dewan-Tatum, Brian Geraghty, Anthony Mackie, Kate Mara, Rosario Dawson, Justin Long, Scott Porter, Chris Pratt, Aubrey Plaza and Oscar Isaac in a dramedy about a group of friends who, you guessed it, gather for the ten-year reunion.
