A Second Chance
A Susanne Bier movie is coming to Toronto, and sorry, Jennifer Lawrence fans, it's not "Serena." That Depression-era drama is still M.I.A., and Bier has since gone to make two more films, including this one, "A Second Chance."

Space Station 76
The genre comedy/spoof is a tricky one to pull off. Hell, just ask Seth MacFarlane, who tried it with "A Million Ways To Die In The West." Needless to say, Jack Plotnick has his work cut out for him with "Space Station 76," but the first trailer reveals something whose ambitions are modest, while keeping a sharp eye on the jokes.

Saint Laurent
If you've been waiting for a movie about legendary fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent, 2014 is your year. In February at the Berlin Film Festival, Jalil Lespert dropped "Yves Saint Laurent" with Pierre Niney in the lead role and... it wasn't very good. Then a few months later at Cannes, Bertrand Bonello's "Saint Laurent" arrived with Gaspard Ulliel in the title part and it too wasn't very good. But still, you're going to probably watch one of these, so why not the one with Léa Seydoux?

Predestination
Five years ago, Ethan Hawke starred in the mostly pretty terrible "Daybreakers," written and directed by the Spierig brothers. He must've liked working them because he's reteamed with the filmmakers for "Predestination," and after premiering at SXSW this spring, the film is headed to the Fantasia Film Festival, and a new trailer has arrived.

Boardwalk Empire Steve Buscemi
"Boardwalk Empire" will be taking its final journey along the coast of New Jersey this fall, and it's going to bring some big changes with it. The last season of the period drama will apparently jump the timeline forward to the early '30s, just as prohibition is about to end. And it's going to be intense.

Guardians Of The Galaxy
It's still about two weeks from Marvel's "Guardians Of The Galaxy" opening all over the planet, and the studio really, really wants this one to be a big success. They've already had a special, one night only IMAX preview earlier this month, unveiling seventeen minutes worth of footage. But if you couldn't make it or want to see more, six minutes from the movie are now online to show off James Gunn's irreverent outer space superhero flick.

Imitation Game
We may be in the sticky heat of July, but eyes are already turned to the awards season. Tomorrow, the Toronto International Film Festival will be unveiling the first titles of their slate, and it will be an interesting window into what the studios will be trotting out as their contenders. And one that is still in play for Toronto (and its competitors) is The Weinstein Company's "The Imitation Game," and the first trailer is here to show you why they paid $7 million for the rights earlier this year.
