The red band trailer usually delivers nudity, foul language and all kinds of other stuff they can't show general audiences without some concerned parent gasping at the horror of it all. This one for "This Is 40" has none of those which leaves us asking why it was designated with that tag. Was it Paul Rudd's anus? The use of the word 'dicks'? The suggestion that Megan Fox isn't wearing any undewear? We're sure the stuffed shirts at the MPAA have their reasons, but anyway you can check out the not-so-naughty work below.

So, did the trailer for "Oblivion" not fill your appetite for futursitic sci-fi in which Earth is no longer as it seems? Well, get comfortable because Will Smith and his son Jaden Smith have teamed up with M. Night Shyamalan for "After Earth" and after this first trailer....we're not quite sure what it's about....

With the hope of cementing his comeback, started with "Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol" (we'll kindly overlook "Rock Of Ages"), and looking to be continued with "Jack Reacher," Tom Cruise is turning to a genre he's generally been a stranger to -- science-fiction. Aside from his two films with Steven Spielberg, "Minority Report" and "War Of The Worlds," Cruise has rarely delved into more fantastical territory, but he's currently filming Doug Liman's "All You Need Is Kill," and is circling another script called "Our Name Is Adam." But first up is "Oblivion," and hot on the the heels of a poster, the film's trailer has leaked online overseas.

Drummer, guitarist, singer, frontman…and now, documentarian. The Foo Fighters and Nirvana icon Dave Grohl is premiering his debut documentary feature “Sound City” at next year’s Sundance Flim Festival, and after securing a spot in the Documentary Premieres section at the festival, we’ve now got a trailer for the film.

We’ve already been informed that “Iron Man 3” will most certainly not be a serious movie despite a rather serious looking trailer, so it looks like we should get ready for a totally not serious “techno-thriller” next summer. That’s Shane Black's latest description of the third "Iron Man" installment, but that description was also preceded by the words “gritty” and intense,” so at this point it doesn’t sound like even Shane Black’s sure just how frivolous or serious this thing's going to be.

Every year, a select batch of films are chosen for the prestigious Cannes Film Festival, and they all come with wide-eyed hopes and dreams. But once the red carpet is rolled up, there are always a few pictures that disappear, left to the arthouse dustbin of time. "Confession Of A Child Of Century," an autobiographical tale by Alfred de Musset that tells of his affair with George Sand (the pseudonym of Baroness Amandine Aurore Lucile Dupin), appears to fall into the latter category.

Considering audiences will be getting a full nine minutes in front of IMAX screenings of "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey," maybe it makes sense that the rest us who aren't going to Peter Jackson's movie on opening weekend will have to be content with this one-minute announcement teaser for now.

Oh, so you thought the guy who made brain busting "Primer" in 2004 was going to go easy on his next effort out. Maybe a romantic comedy or a drama about a marriage falling apart...it is premiering at the Sundance Film Festival after all... But nah, Shane Carruth is ready to make you think hard once again.

Though we thought "Foxfire," the latest from Laurent Cantet (the director of arthouse hit and Cannes winner "The Class") might have made a bigger splash when it premiered at TIFF in the fall, it arrived and left with a bit of a whisper. The film is still without North American distribution, a bit of an oddity considering it's based on Joyce Carol Oates' classic book, but it is rolling out overseas and hopefully that will give someone the push to take it on.

Zombie fans have a lot to look foward to in February. Not only will "The Walking Dead" lurch back on to TV for the second half of season three (preview here) after a cliffhanger eighth episode last night, but another spin on the genre will arrive in the form of Jonathan Levine's "Warm Bodies."
