Generally known for her tough, wrenching dramas, it looks like Susanne Bier has taken a page out of the Woody Allen playbook (though without the name brand, ensemble cast) for her upcoming effort "Love Is All You Need." Featuring an exotic location, a potpourri of languages, and a mix of romance and drama, the film looks like it's poised to be a breezy little number.

It took 17 years for “The Simpsons” to finally make their transition from the small screen to the big screen, and the result was a crushing disappointment. Few would argue that the animated cartoon has been consistently at its best in this century, but that’s probably because it set such a high bar for itself towards the end of the nineties. The film though was weak even by later season standards, and there’s hardly a been a clamor for America’s favorite yellow family to return to cinemas in the five years since.

This summer, you're gonna be getting a whole lot of Tom Hardy. And to cap off your week, here are two new trailers for his latest efforts, which mostly boast the same stuff we've seen before. But hey, it's Friday, and if you want to get out of work on time, better to stay in your cubicle/office fucking off on the internet than possibly running into your boss in the hallway, right?

Exclusive online content is all the rage nowadays, ranging from Funny or Die clips to projects involving talent like Kiefer Sutherland, Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt -- the web is fast becoming a channel to be seen by many. Producer Bryan Singer is already bringing his "H+" sci-fi series to the web in August, but it was back in January we told you actor Tom Hanks would be producing an animated web series, "Electric City," and things looks to be shaping up quite nicely.

As studios, distributors, and filmmakers in general continue to look for refreshing new ways to have their work seen by as wide an audience as possible -- whether it be on television, digital shorts, etc. -- one of those potentially promising outlets seems to be the web series format. While we can't say that a particularly successful title sticks out to us at the moment (besides maybe the hilarious "Burning Love" created by Ken Marino), producer Bryan Singer looks to be offering up something that will surely entice the resident sci-fi enthusiasts.

Man, what does Bryan Mills have to do to get some rest? After dispatching a bunch of Albanians (who, as one commenter noted, are organized enough to round up all the bodies scattered from probable crime scenes all over the place for a mass burial) all Bry wants to do is chill with his wife Famke Janssen, maybe get some action of the horizontal kind (if you know what we mean), and bust some cold hangs in Istanbul? What could possibly go wrong?

Boasting a deceptively simple premise, if some of the advance word on "The Loneliest Planet" starring Gael García Bernal is anything to go by, filmmaker Julia Loktev has made the most of and crafted something truly special. And certainly, the trailer has definitely piqued our interest.

If there's a more twisted and disturbing (in a good way) film that "Compliance" this year, this writer hasn't seen it. And following last week's debut of the poster, a full-blown trailer has arrived.
