Snowpiercer, Kang-ho Song
With the film getting set to open in South Korea next week, the last marketing push — at least until it comes stateside — is underway for Bong Joon-ho’s post-apocalyptic "Snowpiercer." And now the "final" trailer, at least internationally for the moment, has arrived, giving us one more taste of the upcoming.

Yesterday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge presented their newly born baby boy to the world during a photo-call. If you didn't get enough of it, or if you are simply curious of knowing how members of a Royal family spend their time, you can treat yourself with the newly released trailer for the movie "Mary, Queen of Scots" based upon the real life of one of Great Britain's most tragic royal figures: Mary Stuart (1542-1587).

Here's hoping that Warner Bros. is selling the sizzle and not the steak. We're still a couple of months from "Gravity" hitting theaters, but with bows at Venice and TIFF on the horizon, the marketing machine is starting to churn for the film. In case you missed, late last night a single take scene formed the basis of a new trailer for the movie, and another long take teaser has arrived.

So just how long has the Keanu Reeves-starring "47 Ronin" been kicking around? It was originally slated to open last November, before going through a couple more release date bumps, before finally landing on Christmas Day this year. Reports of re-shoots, story changes and more dogged the project, with the budget rumored to have soared to $225 million already (though the studio insists it won't cross $200 million), well past the original $175 million budget. And that's not mention some battles over the edit, though first time filmmaker Carl Rinsch has weathered the storm. And now, we'll see the result and it's... this....

And the advance looks continue to roll out, as today a new trailer has arrived for one of the more intriguing question marks of the forthcoming fest.

Gravity, Bullock, Clooney
The old adage used to be that in space, no one can hear you scream. But what happens if they can hear you scream, but there's no one around to help? Thousands of miles above the Earth, there isn't much room for error and when disaster strikes in Alfonso Cuaron's "Gravity" it's pretty bracing stuff.

We Are The Best! (VI ÄR BÄST!)
Lukas Moodysson's 2000 film “Together” may have followed the director's breakout debut, “Fucking Amal,” but it is notable purely from a tonal standpoint as one of his most accessible and warm works in a sea of unrelenting dramas. Announced early last year, his latest film “VI ÄR BÄST!” (roughly translated as “We Are The Best”) appears to aim for the same optimistic mood, and now the first trailer has arrived to confirm the suspicion.

So "Red 2" opened this weekend, made less than its predecessor and proved that not everything needs a sequel and that sometimes, once is enough for an audience. But at least one could understand why that film was made at all, with the first one bringing in just a shade under $200 million worldwide. But here's the thing about the 2010 remake of "I Spit On Your Grave"— nobody cared. Critics savaged it and audiences didn't really want to see a movie about a young woman getting raped and then torturing a bunch of guys to death. It brought in just over $570,000 worldwide. And yet somehow, this screams franchise! for Anchor Bay.

NBC has been a punching bag lately, and not without good reason. The one-time kings of network ratings have tumbled from their dominance of Must See TV Thursday to pretty much For The Love Of God Watch Us On Any Night Please TV. And while NBC's past found them bringing massive, game-changing comedies like "Seinfeld," "Cheers," and "Friends" to air, is cutting-edge drama going to define them moving forward? This year alone they defied all expectations and impressed both critics and audiences with "Hannibal," a richer than expected and very fresh take on the character. And next year, will "Believe" join its ranks?
