Girls Lena Dunham Zosia Mamet Jemima Kirke Allison Williams
Hugely successful and perhaps equally controversial, there's no denying that Lena Dunham's "Girls" is nothing short of a phenomenon. And the creator/writer/producer/star has been striking while the iron is red hot, set to deliver the third season in less than three years in January. And a new teaser has landed showing off the first actual footage from the new season.

All the Light in the Sky
You would think having worked with Michel Gondry, Todd Solondz, Jonathan Levine, Todd Field, Curtis Hanson, Robert Altman, Alan Rudolph, Paul Schrader and more, there might be a little more love out there for Jane Adams. And yet, the actress always seems severely underrated (she was pretty fantastic on the short-lived, equally underrated HBO series "Hung") and it looks like she's drawn on her Hollywood status (or lack of it) for "All The Light In The Sky," the latest effort from workaholic director Joe Swanberg.

Can we get a little shout out to Drafthouse Films? As the majors continue to put more money into big franchises (see everything being released in 2015), it's guys like Drafthouse (and A24, Roadside Attractions, IFC Films, etc.) that keep cinephiles excited. And in addition to taking on challenging foreign films and edgy American movies, Drafthouse has also resurrected cult fare as well. "Miami Connection," "Wake In Fright," and the forthcoming "The Visitor" are just some recent examples and there's one more to keep an eye on: Abel Ferrara's "Ms. 45."

Sabotage
After the flops "The Last Stand" and "Escape Plan," it's becoming a real question as to whether audiences want to see Arnold Schwarzenegger in anything that's not a pre-built franchise. But maybe surrounding him with a massive ensemble—Sam Worthington, Terrence Howard, Joe Manganiello, Dawn Olivieri, Malin Akerman, Olivia Williams, Mirielle Enos and Josh Holloway—might get a few more people in the door.

The Invisible Woman
Whether or not "The Invisible Woman" can overcome respectable but not quite ecstatic notices out of Telluride and TIFF to become an awards season contender remains to be seen, but that doesn't mean there aren't surprises to be found in the film. As we noted earlier this afternoon in our For Your Consideration: 5 Overlooked Supporting Actresses Who Deserve Some Oscar Season Attention, one to pay attention to is Joanna Scanlan for her small, but important turn in the film.

You might think with no shortage of Jim Henson creations to choose from that a Muppets movie doesn't need star power to back it up. But cameos have been a staple of the franchise since the beginning and that's not stopping with the latest entry in the series, "Muppets Most Wanted."

A suitcase full of money, a crooked cop, a femme fatale and plans gone wrong... It sounds like something we've seen before, but with the usually solid Jason Clarke ("Lawless," "Zero Dark Thirty," "The Great Gatsby," "White House Down") in the lead, "Swerve" is one we'll definitely be checking out.
