Yes, it's getting in hot in here, and it's not just the summer sun bearing down on you. What happens when two hot mamas get uncomfortable under the collar for the each other's hunky sons? No, this isn't that section of the bookstore you shamefully go into, it's "Adore" (previously known as "Two Mothers") the steamy new drama that basically asks what happens if you screwed your best friend's Mom?

Prince Avalanche
The bickering buddies format is so familiar, it's hard to believe that it can still be used and seem fresh, funny and vibrant, but sometimes you just need the right mix of talent. David Gordon Green, Paul Rudd and Emile Hirsch are just that in "Prince Avalanche," and a brand new, charming trailer is here to convince you to get out of the house this summer, hit your local arthouse and settle in for a real treat. (It's on our list of Best Films Of The Year...So Far for a reason).

Ben Wheatley has taken viewers down dark paths with "Kill List," on blackly comic road trips with "Sightseers" and into a crime family trying to keep it together with "Down Terrace," but perhaps nothing can prepare us for "A Field In England." And these this new teaser trailer and TV spot reveal that if anything, it's going to be a experience probably unlike many other things you'll see this summer.

Well, watch this while you can because it will probably be yanked off the Internet in short order. But for the past few weeks, some footage of Terry Gilliam's "The Zero Theorem" -- including a rather spoiler heavy reel featuring 12 minutes of material -- have been kicking around some parts of the interwebs, but over the weekend they made their way to some forums and YouTube, and thus here we are.

Generally, movies about the technology industry aren't very good and are very few, and outside of "The Social Network," there are even less based on real events. In fact, it kind of says something in certain dork circles, "The Pirates Of Silicon Valley" -- even with its totally '90s casting of Noah Wyle as Steve Jobs and Anthony Michael Hall as Bill Gates -- still stands beloved, even though it's also kind of not very good. But can "Jobs" challenge for the crown? Granted, it doesn't have to leap very high, but you may have to get past Ashton Kutcher as the founder of Apple.

Yes, the movies are a place to escape to find adventure, romance, laughter, tears and thrills but they are also a place to plunk down your kids for a couple hours of sweet relief. Every now and then, you'll be blessed by a Pixar or DreamWorks movie that manages to keep you entertained as well, and then there's the other stuff....

First, some background: back in 2011, director Dito Montiel hit Sundance with his Al Pacino and Channing Tatum starring cop flick "The Son Of No One," that depending on who you ask, was so bad it prompted a sea of walkouts or had a botched screening thanks to a projectionist error. Either way, the movie was not well received at Park City or otherwise, and so Montiel dusted himself off, and made another cop movie with Dwayne Johnson and Liam Hemsworth. No brainer to work right? Um, not so fast...

Drinking Buddies trailer
Marking a massive shift for mumblecore director Joe Swanberg, in that it looks like he has an actual budget and is working with people you've heard of, the real pleasant surprise around the upcoming "Drinking Buddies" is that it's actually just a plain, good movie. Catching it at SXSW, we said that "relationships are hard, our biology is essentially wired to be completely destructive to monogamy and without giving away exactly how things end up [the film] does a great job of exploring that friction." Intrigued?

Michael Cera, Crystal Fairy
It seems there's no stopping Michael Cera at the moment. Dude is on a tear with "Arrested Development" now back with a new season (in which he not only acted, but also co-wrote), a hit comedy in theaters ("This Is The End," in which he features in a great cameo) and various web efforts courtesy of JASH including shorts "Gregory Go Boom" and "Failure." And that's not mention his arthouse movies, including the upcoming "Magic Magic" (trailer here) and now "Crystal Fairy" (renamed for some reason to "Crystal Fairy & The Magical Cactus," as if that will make it more enticing to Joe Average movie dude).
