Though its title seems to preclude the possibility of further films, the unnecessary sequel to the Eli Roth-produced found-footage horror, “The Last Exorcism Part II,” is set to scare some money out of audiences this March. To date all we’ve seen is a still and a poster, but now the studio has finally released a trailer via Yahoo.

Last fall, our attention was grabbed in a big way by the teaser trailer for "Mobius." Coming somewhat out of nowhere, it certainly riffed on BRAAAHM-esque, "Inception"-style marketing, but was still tantalizingly mysterious, and provided more than enough stirring imagery to intrigue us. Well, with the movie set to open overseas shortly, a longer, more traditional trailer has dropped that's no less compelling.

For some, continuing to call the Sundance Film Festival "indie" given the huge stars, swag bags, parties and more that mark each year in Park City, is a bit of joke. But for those looking for some truly independent cinema, films that feature actors, actresses, writers and directors who are truly looking for a leg up, the Slamdance Flim Festival is the place. Overlapping with the festivities at Sundance, Slamdance will have a plethora of offerings on display, and one movie hoping to rise above the noise is "Best Friends Forever." But don't let that title deceive you.

A big-screen take on an acclaimed stage play, a documentary, and a film from Mexico...it looks like there will be some compelling alternate choices at the Sundance Film Festival this year if you're shut out of the big-ticket screenings, and with a handful of trailers dropping, let's take a quick dive into them.

If the promo materials for “The Last Stand” are anything to go by, we don’t really know why anyone was excited about Arnold Schwarzenegger's return to acting. Although he was never renowned for his skills as an actor, it’s clear that age has caught up with the Austrian Oak. With the film's release date drawing closer, the studio has released a red-band trailer to pump up Arnie’s fans for the action in store.

It's been helluva day for Guillermo Del Toro fans. The director kicked off his Monday talking to journalists about his upcoming "Mama," the horror film he produced starring Jessica Chastain, and of course, the chatty director shared all kinds of tidbits not related to that film at all. With The Playlist he revealed that he was approached for "Star Wars: Episode 7," which he turned down, and that he was planning another studio pitch for "At The Mountains Of Madness." And then he closed things off by walking on stage this evening at CES during mobile company Qualcomm's opening presentation, to help show off the new trailer for "Pacific Rim" which is powered by their processor or something.

If you follow these sorts of things, you're well aware that the TCA Winter Press Tour is in full swing at the moment. If you don’t, well, the TCA are the Television Critics Association, and the twice-yearly press tour consists of the networks and cable channels bulling themselves and their upcoming content up to the press. Over the weekend Starz got the opportunity to do just that for the shows on their upcoming slate, and perhaps the most interesting project they’re banging the drum for is the David Goyer (“The Dark Knight” trilogy) -penned “Da Vinci’s Demons.”

Back in October we put together a feature entitled Fire Your Agent: 10 Actors Who Need A Change Of Career Direction. And among them was Adrien Brody, who seems to have no discerning standard for choosing projects, just as quick to do a Woody Allen movie as....well, this. Vince Offer, the guy who created the fucking Slap Chop, has made a movie. And basically, Brody, Michelle Rodriguez, Rob Schneider and Lindsay Lohan all need to fire their agents and rethink their careers for being involved in this thing.

Well, that was fast. Just a few hours after HBO announced that they'll be bringing the U.K. miniseries "Parade's End" starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Rebecca Hall to American shores next month, they've gone ahead and dropped the first teaser trailer. And yes, it's look pretty damn good.

Dear Open Road, can you spare a dime to show a trailer that's essentially not just a cut down version of what we've seen before? Ah well, whatevs. Steven Soderbergh has one last theatrical release in the can before retirement and it's called "Side Effects" (yeah, there's "Behind The Candelabra" still, and while it may premiere at Cannes, it's going to air stateside on HBO).
