At one time, it seemed inconceivable that enfant terrible Harmony Korine would do anything close to courting the mainstream, let alone shoot a picture with folks like James Franco, Vanessa Hudgens, Selena Gomez and Ashley Benson. But after the awesomely lo-fi audience provocation "Trash Humpers," it seems kind of logical that Korine would make something to appeal to the folks who couldn't make it to the end of that movie. And so: "Spring Breakers." And get ready, because it's gonna get wet.

Sundance isn't all coming of age stories, biopics, documentaries and brain-scratching indies. Some entries are just there to thrill and entertain, and while the upcoming "S-VHS" won't be threatening anybody for awards, if this teaser trailer is anything to go by, it still be one that has everyone talking.

Remember when it was announced that Coldplay were co-financing a movie? No? Well, that was almost two years ago, and the fruits of their money's labor will now be seen in the finished product, "Ashes," a film noir that looks as confusing as it is generic, though it does boast Ray Winstone going blonde, "Memento"-style.

There is no doubt that Michael Shannon can play menacing -- he'll put it to blockbuster effect this summer as General Zod in "Man Of Steel" -- and it seems filmmakers are eager to harness that intensity. That's certainly true with "The Iceman," the starry hitman flick that hit the festival circuit last fall but has been quiet ever since. But with a spring release date around the corner, Millenium Films have turned a light back onto the picture as they gear up to get it out.

Set to premiere at the Slamdance Film Festival, we have the first exclusive trailer for the movie, and....well, just watch it, and you'll see what we mean.

Mark Webber is not only a solid actor traversing both indie and mainstream worlds ("Broken Flowers," "The Hottest State," "Dear Wendy," "Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World"), but he has also found his own voice and bloomed into a interesting writer/director in recent years. He released his debut "Explicit Ills" in 2009, and his sophomore directorial effort, "The End of Love" feels like another personal and intimate work. It also features a meta aspect at its core: he stars as an actor named Mark alongside his real-life, then-two-year-old son Issac
