While it doesn't have a U.S. release date just yet, the Coen Brothers penned, Cameron Diaz and Colin Firth starring comedy "Gambit" is already kicking up its heels overseas. A remake of the 1966 Michael Caine/Shirley MacLaine film, while on paper it sounds promising, the end result is a bit more disappointing (read our review here), but judge for yourself with four clips from the movie below.

Review: Coen-Derived Caper Comedy 'Gambit' Features A Game Colin Firth, But That's About It

Of all the genres to try and pull off, the romantic caper flick -- think "To Catch A Thief," or "Charade," or even "Ocean's Eleven" -- is one of the trickiest. For such a film to work out, it's got to be as light as a feather and feel entirely effortless, and all too many films aiming to hit that sweet spot end up feel entirely effort-ful. But if anyone feels like they might be suited to that sort of thing, it would be the Coen Brothers, who penned the script for the remake of a minor classic of the genre, the 1966 Michael Caine/Shirley MacLaine film "Gambit." Have they pulled off?

Nudity, lions, an art heist, outrageous accents and Stanley Tucci -- "Gambit" appears to have it all (depending on what your definition of "all" is), and a new, full-length trailer for the Coens-penned movie has dropped. And if anything, it proves that the brothers' brand of eccentricity-laced humor hasn't been lost in translation.

When a movie is getting most of its buzz because it has a script written by Ethan and Joel Coen there are certain...expectations. But if this first footage of the upcoming "Gambit" is anything to go by, there is a difference between a movie written by the Coens and a movie written and directed by the Coens.

For the second year in a row, it seems that we won't be getting a new Coen Brothers film. The directors had been especially prolific in recent years, with four films in four years between "No Country For Old Men" and "True Grit," but producer Scott Rudin confirmed a while back that it was unlikely that their latest, "Inside Llewlyn Davis," would be ready in time for release in 2012, despite the hopes of many. We suspect we won't see the film until Cannes next year at the earliest, but fans should take heart: a project that the brothers had a hand in will be surfacing over the next few months.

CBS Films Move 'Seven Psychopaths' Up To October 12th, Delay 'Gambit' To Winter 2013

After a disappointing 2011 in which their films underperformed greatly, CBS Films have been doing a little better this year. February's "The Woman In Black" proved to be a sleeper hit, and Lasse Hallstrom's "Salmon Fishing In The Yemen" did pretty decently as well a month or two later. Next up for the company is "The Words," which opens next month, but they have done a little tinkering with their release schedule for further on the year.

It's a good ol' release date swap meet! A few titles have switched around their dates, so get out your day planner and make the following changes accordingly....

It's release date madness today. You've got the cynical nostalgia cash-grab of "Jurassic Park" (which is coming out next summer in a 3D re-release, ca'ching!), you've got a Tom Cruise sci-fi film from the director of "Tron: Legacy" ("Oblivion" which is now dated for spring 2013) and now we've got three more films that finally have release dates attached to them.

Plus Earth-Shattering, Game-Changing First Look At The FilmAre you a young filmmaker, slowly coming to the realization that the film you've been sweating over for months, if not years, isn't quite going to be what you hoped, even before you start filming. There's one simple solution. Cast Stanley Tucci. Scientifically proven to make every film 15% better, the veteran character actor doesn't just shine in good films, like "The Devil Wears Prada" and "Easy A," but he also proves the few spots of pleasure in terrible ones, like "The Core," "The Lovely Bones" and "Burlesque."

As if a movie starring Colin Firth and directed by Michael Hoffman wasn't classing up the joint enough already, the Coen Brothers-scribed remake of "Gambit" is bringing on two more Brit veterans to show everyone how it's done.
