Get On Up
This summer, a man in shiny suit who can defy gravity will be coming to theaters everywhere. Nope, he's not a superhero—he's just the hardest-working man in show business, and he's coming to the big screen in all his fiery fury.

Get On Up
It’s taken the story of James Brown’s musical legacy a decade or more to get to the big screen. Spike Lee was adamant about making it, but the biopic fell through his fingers a few years back (with potentially Eddie Murphy in tow, image that?). Perhaps in what might be a safer, more crowd-pleasing an awards-friendly version, Universal is releasing “Get On Up” this summer from Tate Taylor, the director of “The Help,” and Chadwick Boseman, the star of “42,” as the godfather of soul before he was king.

The 2015 Best Picture Contenders, Premature pics
The star of "Ghosts Of Girlfriends Past" and the singer from 30 Seconds Of Mars are Oscar winners, "12 Years A Slave" beat "Gravity," Adele Tazeem became the most famous non-existent person on the planet, and no one's stopped talking about selfies for about 72 hours. The streets of LA are now full of discarded The Weinstein Company interns, who haven't seen daylight for months and are only capable of saying the words "Everything you are and everything you have is 'cos of that butler." Yep, the 2013/2014 awards season has come to an end.

Fifty Shades Of Grey, First Look
There is probably an easy joke here about how good things come (ha) to those who wait, and it's never good to rush into bed or something, but it looks like Universal and Focus Features have decided to give "Fifty Shades Of Grey" the space it needs to do it right (sorry). So for those of you who were looking to go the sex room of your local multiplex next year, you'll have to hold on just a bit longer (hardy har har).

Developing for nearly a decade, the adaptation of Deborah Moggach's "Tulip Fever"has seen all kinds of names — John Madden, Keira Knightley, Jude Law, Peter Chelsom, Tom Hooper — kick the tires, but nothing coalesced. But earlier this year the wheels started spinning again with Alicia Vikander became attached, and now she may be joined by Dane DeHaan.

If there’s anything one could take away from Jason Statham’s career over the past few years, it’s that he likes to kick a lot of ass. He’s one of the few reliable action stars in the business, always fun to watch even if his movies aren’t always worth writing home about. Now he might be getting a chance to flex his comic muscles, teaming up with Melissa McCarthy, Rose Byrne, and director Paul Feig in “Susan Cooper.”
