Watch: Kristen Wiig Is The 'Girl Most Likely' In Trailer For The New Comedy From The Directors Of 'American Splendor'

Kristen Wiig exploded after the massive success of "Bridesmaids," but unlike Melissa McCarthy, we have yet to see the cinematic rewards be reaped. Her only notable post-'Bridesmaids' turns were a small part in "Friends With Kids" and another little bit in "Friends With Jolly!," but by the end of year, she'll be back on radars thanks to "Anchorman: The Legend Continues" and "The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty" alone. But before both of those, another one of her indie films will be hitting the big screen.

Now that she's gone from "Saturday Night Live," we're entering a new phase of Kristen Wiig's career. The actress already had a monster hit under her belt thanks to "Bridesmaids," but to her credit, she didn't rush into the first paycheck that came along, mixing big-time comedies like this Christmas's duo of "The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty" and "Anchorman: The Legend Continues" with indies like the upcoming "Hateship, Loveship" and "The Skeleton Twins."

Remember Kristen Wiig's post-"Bridesmaids" pet-project comedy "Imogene" which she executive-produced and starred-in? Lionsgate and Roadside Attractions have announced a July 19, 2013 release date for the film, and also a title change. The picture will now be known as "Girl Most Likely."
