More rankings! As Oscar prognosticators puzzle, fret and worry over each top ten list that drops, a few patterns are becoming clear -- firstly, everyone loves "Zero Dark Thirty." And secondly, it looks like outside of a couple of categories, Paul Thomas Anderson's "The Master" won't be making much of a mark on the Oscar race. And indeed, the AFI shut it out entirely.

Here we go again. Let's cue up the Criterion Collection whiners about "Tiny Furniture" or those others who feel Lena Dunham hasn't paid whatever ephemeral dues she needs to in order to qualify for the acclaim she has earned thus far at the age of 26. Haters gonna hate, but frankly Dunham is doing just fine without those folks, and less than a year after "Girls" made a serious splash on HBO, season 2 is on the way.

When you're hot, you're hot and there has been no other new show on television so far this year that has earned quite the same amount of attention as Lena Dunham's "Girls." With the first three episodes premiering at SXSW to a huge response, "Girls" hit HBO in full force in April, averaging 3.8 million viewers over that first batch of shows, leading to a quick renewal by the network. And Dunham didn't waste a single moment, going in front of cameras this summer to shoot the second season, and in less than a year, we'll have ten new episodes to enjoy.

The guys Hannah has encountered in "Girls" thus far have all had their own quirks (except for maybe Lou Taylor Pucci who was almost too normal): Adam (Adam Driver) is slightly sexually deviant, uniquely individual, at times disarmingly sweet and yet, he will pee on you in the shower for a laugh; Marnie's ex-boyfriend Charlie (Christopher Abbott) is nice and earnest to the point of tedium while Ray (Alex Karpovsky) has an opinion and insight about nearly everyone, and it's usually not positive. Could Patrick Wilson be the dude to show Hannah there are some normal guys in New York City?
