First 'Green Lantern' Trailer Hits, Still Looks Like A SyFy Channel Movie

So, we were jawing around the Playlist watercooler today about how with three high profile comic book movies set to hit next year -- "Thor," "Captain America: The First Avenger" and "Green Lantern" -- they can't all be mega hits. We figure at least one of the them will under-perform, and while the early footage of "Thor" that was leaked and subsequently pulled this summer was pretty goofy, the hyped Ryan Reynolds vehicle "Green Lantern" pic has its own share of problems.

We've seen Superman and Batman from the DC Comics stable, so who's next? The ringed hero of "Green Lantern" has emerged with a first look, courtesy of "Entertainment Tonight," and they've provided a tease of new footage ostensibly for the film's trailer to be seen in front of next week's "Harry Potter And The Last Movie: Part One."
