Her, Spike Jonze, Joaquin Phoenix
Yeah, it's long-gone from theaters and already fading in the memory a bit, but it seems folks are still having fun tinkering and satirizing the trailer for Spike Jonze's "Her." Jonah Hill put his spin on it, the voice of Philip Seymour Hoffman stepped in for Samantha, so too did HAL 9000, and there was the parody sequel "Him." And now baseball fans get their unique version.

Her Joaquin Phoenix Chris Pratt
Yeah, we know. With the movie winding down its multiplex, the Oscars handed out (with a win for Spike Jonze for Best Original Screenplay), "Her" seems a bit like old news. There is still one piece of unfinished business left circling the tech based romantic drama—the excellent score by Arcade Fire. The Oscar nominated work is still MIA in the form of an official release, but it seems it could be coming down the line.

2014 Oscar Winners
...And that's it on another year. As always, the Oscars were both exciting, (mostly) sleep inducing, surprising and left us with lots to talk about. But it's late, we're tired and filled with nacho cheese, so we're going to be a bit brief for now.

Annapurna Sizzle Reel Her Spring Breakers American Hustle Foxcatcher
As Sunday's Oscar ceremony rolls closer, Megan Ellison has a lot be proud of. The producer's Annapurna Pictures shingle is behind the film with the most nominations ("American Hustle," with 10 nods and tied with "Gravity"), has another contender in "Her" which is up for a small handful of awards and generally speaking, has a lot to celebrate from across the last year. And just as they did for 2012, Annapurna has cut together sizzle reel highlight their accomplishments in 2013.

Her, Joaquin Phoenix
While Arcade Fire's still (frustratingly) unreleased, Oscar nominated score is key ingredient to the melancholy romance of "Her," from the outset, Spike Jonze had a different idea about what he wanted for the music in his film. "I was initially thinking I would get a bunch of different artists to write music," the director told Digital Spy.

Her, Phoenix, Jonze, Rooney Mara
The awards season grind can often find filmmakers and actors spending months answering the same questions over and over about their films, to the point of tedium. And most of the time, everyone involved is able to stoically endure the repetitive and sometimes simplistic questions that get lobbed their way, but everyone has their breaking point. And the usually amiable Spike Jonze found his recently on "BBC Newsnight."

Her, Joaquin Phoenix
While we'll have to wait to see how many Oscars it takes home in a few weeks, Spike Jonze's "Her" can probably go ahead and claim the prize of most parodied film of 2013. We've seen Jonah Hill take it on, the voice of Philip Seymour Hoffman stepping in for Samantha and the parody sequel "Him" all emerge over the past few months. And here's another.

While we may marvel at James Franco's ability to do twenty thousand things at once, Steven Soderbergh may have him beat. Though he may have "retired" from making movies, Soderbergh still has a TV show coming up ("The Knick"), producing gigs, Broadway productions and more all in various states—not to mention running his site Extension 765—so we have no idea how he still has time to watch, read and listen to music at such a prolific rate. Because seriously, just check out his methodical list of everything he watched, read and listened to (or at least bought on vinyl) in 2013.
