As Disney showed earlier this week with the purchase Lucasfilm, it's all about branding, merchandising and leveraging properties so they keep generating revenue as long as possible. And that's no less true at the other major studios that continue to pursue tentpoles that can be sequelized, spun off, packaged in Happy Meals and more. All of which brings us to "How To Train Your Dragon."

With 20th Century Fox recently picking up the distribution duties for DreamWorks Animation's films (following a profitable relationship with Paramount Pictures that ended somewhat sourly), it was all but a matter of time before the studio announced (via Hollywood Reporter) a fuller slate of movies for the partnership, but this is unprecedented – an ambitious, 12-movie schedule that includes three and sometimes four movies a year, including not one but two "How to Train Your Dragon" sequels and a new paranormal-themed movie starring Seth Rogen.

Amber Heard is in talks to join the thriller “Paranoia” as the female lead opposite everyone’s second favourite Hemsworth (well, except for Miley Cyrus we guess), Liam. The prolific director of “Killers,” “The Ugly Truth,” “Monster-in-Law” and “Win a Date with Tad Hamilton!,” Robert Luketic, is the man behind the camera, and Heard joins a cast which impressively already includes Gary Oldman, Harrison Ford, Lucas Till and "Nip/Tuck" star Julian McMahon. Heard most recently starred opposite Johnny Depp in “The Rum Diary” and may be remembered by many for looking pretty in the likes of “Drive Angry,” “The Ward,” and “The Joneses.” This will finally give her a chance to act rather than be little more than an accessory, as she will play Hemsworth's love interest who happens to be his ticket to spying into a rival firm in the corporate thriller.
