Marking the fourth collaboration between director Michael Winterbottom and actor Steve Coogan, "The Look of Love" is based on the true story of porn baron Paul Raymond. Raymond amassed over $1 billion through purchasing prime real estate in London's Soho, becoming Britain's richest man and earning the title "The King of Soho." Anna Friel plays his wife Jean, who posed for some of Raymond's porno shoots and ultimately received a record divorce-settlement. Their daughter is played by charming and soon-to-be everywhere Imogen Poots. You can peak in at the couple's relationship in the clip below.

Empire Big Screen '11 Review: 'Fright Night' Is Entertaining, But Eminently Disposable

A confession: this writer has never seen the original "Fright Night." It's one of a certain kind of 80s VHS-era film ("The Goonies," 'Weird Science," 'Wargames"), beloved by a certain generation that this writer was a few years too late for, and that we've never caught up on, principally because it feels like there are plenty of better things to do with our time. This is a long-winded way of saying that if you're looking for comparisons between the original and 2011's "Fright Night", if you're looking for someone to tell you if Colin Farrell lives up to Chris Sarandon, this is not the review for you. What we can do is judge Craig Gillespie's remake on its own merits, of which there are a few: "Fright Night" is an enjoyable time at the movies. But we suspect it's the kind of film that, when it airs on TV five years from now, we'll only realize that we've seen before half an hour in.

Here at The Playlist, we’ve been singing the praises of British actress Imogen Poots for a while now. She impressed in Jordan Scott’s boarding school drama “Cracked” and David Levien’s “Solitary Man,” and has been building her presence over the years, with smaller roles in “V for Vendetta,” “28 Weeks Later” and “Me and Orson Welles.” At the close of 2010, The Playlist listed Poots as one of our 15 actresses on the rise, and indeed with roles coming up in the biopic "Greetings From Tim Buckley," the drama "A Late Quartet" (alongside Philip Seymour Hoffman, Catherine Keener and more) and the romance/heist flick "Comes A Bright Day" with "Submarine" star Craig Roberts, she's definitely living up to her early promise.

British actress Imogen Poots’ career has been picking up steam for a few years now overseas with critically acclaimed roles in Jordan Scott’s (Ridley’s daughter) boarding school drama “Cracked” and the David Levien-helmed “Solitary Man.” Stateside, Poots’ exposure has been brief, with smaller roles in “V for Vendetta” and “Me and Orson Welles” along with her breakout in 2007’s “28 Weeks Later.” Poots’ will have her biggest exposure later this month in the remake of “Fright Night” where she’ll play the girlfriend to Anton Yelchin’s Charley Brewster and the potential plaything for Colin Farrell’s nasty vampire, Jerry.

Though "Breaking Dawn" has captured the hearts of teens and their moms, the brutal, blood-sucking, non-sparkly vampire remains immortal. After Thursday's "Twilight" lovefest, Comic-Con's Hall H was taken over by two vehicles for the meaner brand of the undead with "Fright Night" and "Underworld: Awakening" on Friday. "Fright Night" reimagines the '80s classic, this time casting Colin Farrell as the not-so-neighborly vamp Jerry and Anton Yelchin as the threatened boy next door. Meanwhile, "Underworld: Awakening" revives Kate Beckinsale's role in the franchise as her Selene comes out of a coma after more than a decade.

Yes, believe it folks, one of the two Jeff Buckley movies in development is moving forward whether you like it or not, and production continues with its indie spirit as Deadline reveals that rising Brit actress Imogen Poots has joined the cast. While her name may sound funny and or not be familiar at all to you, that is likely soon to change. The actress impressed in last year's "Solitary Man" and this year, she was made her presence known in two period pieces, the criminally underseen Jordan Scott film "Cracks" and Cary Fukunaga's gothic "Jane Eyre." But her biggest exposure is yet to come as next month, she'll try not to get fanged by Colin Farrell in the "Fright Night" remake.
