Comedy can succeed based on either its relatability or sheer absurdity, and “A.C.O.D.” favors the former approach, while not entirely forgoing the latter. Within its first few moments, this movie informs us that 54% of people are adult children of divorce, or A.C.O.D. Statistically, you’re likely to fall within that group (or closely know someone who does), making many of the jokes and observations here hit perhaps a little too close to home, though not too closely not to laugh.

A.C.O.D. Adam Scott
Sometimes movies need to sell us on their premise or the visual ambition, or provide some other hook to get us interested. Then there are movies like the upcoming comedy "A.C.O.D.," which with an ensemble led by Adam Scott and featuring Catherine O'Hara, Richard Jenkins, Jane Lynch, Clark Duke, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Amy Poehler and Jessica Alba, has the kind of cast we'd watch in anything. Just tell us where to show up. Speaking of showing up, not only do have some exclusive photos and clips from the film but those of you in New York City may be in for an extra treat.

“The big thing for us is about awareness of what an A.C.O.D. is,” director Stu Zicherman recently told EW. “There’s a lot of debate about [keeping] the title.” Well, keep they did and now comes the part of the campaign to let you know what it's all about. And that's just what the first trailer for "A.C.O.D." does, bringing together a whole bunch solid comedic talents for a tale about the effects splitting up....on everyone else...

With the election year in full swing, the gay marriage issue continues to be a major talking point, with the battle over defining the instution being critically discussed in both parties. But the battle has long been waging in California, where the right for gays to marry was recently overturned and constitutionally banned with the passage of Prop 8. It was a blow for basic human rights and equality for all, and it's a fight that continues in the state. Thus, it's no surprise that the issue has become a cause célèbre for Hollywood stars and they came out in full force over the weekend.

There's something particularly satisfying about watching a hard-working, long-serving character actor finally getting their due. Which is why, for all the cultural monstrosities it has inflicted on us over the last few years, we'll never totally resent "Glee" -- it continues, after all, provide a huge showcase for Jane Lynch, one of the most gifted comic scene-stealers of the last couple of decades.

Previously known as “Reboot Ralph” (and “Joe Jump” before that), the movie will be released in digital 3D and will include the voices of John C. Reilly, Sarah Silverman, Jane Lynch and Jack McBrayer.

The Farrelly Brothers have locked down another key cast member for their upcoming "The Three Stooges," and no, it's not Cher as they had hoped earlier on or Richard Jenkins as was speculated way back when (which kinda would have been awesome).

'Glee' Star Says She Hasn't Been Offered Part, But She'd Take One If She WasWaka waka waka. Looks like Sharon Waxman's rolodex isn't so spot on and/or who are we to believe these days? Last week, Production Weekly twittered out an entire slew of casting rumors from the new Jason Segel lead 'Muppet' movie that James Bobin (”Flight Of The Conchords”) is directing. Evidently, Paul Rudd, Lady Gaga, and an army of other celebrity actors were set to make small appearances or cameos in the film -- Rudd was said to be voicing the new Muppet Walter (seen above next to Lynch).
