Lady Gaga May Appear Alongside Rumors Of John Krasinski, Donald Glover & More It's time to get things started is right. The cast to the new "The Muppets" movie -- spearheaded by star and superfan Jason Segel -- is expanding. We've already been promised several celebrity cameos and now Production Weekly have tweeted that myriad well-known actors have joined the growing ensemble. First and foremost is Paul Rudd who will evidently voice Walter The Muppet, the main new character (seen above with an iPhone) who stars alongside Segel and Amy Adams (Chris Cooper and Rashida Jones are already part of the cast).

With production gearing up on the franchise reboot "The Muppets" starring Jason Segel, Amy Adams, Rashida Jones and Chris Cooper, we now have our first look at the wild and wacky felt-covered gang being assembled for the pic. And if you look closely, you'll notice a new face in there.

You know, we really tried to be optimistic about this. The cast features a bunch of very funny people we really like such as Jason Segel, T.J. Miller, Romany Malco, Joe Lo Truglio and hell, even Jack Black, who can be great in the right circumstance. And with a script co-written by Nicholas Stoller ("Forgetting Sarah Marshall," "Get Him To The Greek"), we figured this might be the rare mainstream comedy that would have some fun with its premise. But alas, that's not to be.
