The next comedy from David Gordon Green, the bonkers-looking fantasy spoof "Your Highness," isn't out until April, but the prolific, chameleonic director has already wrapped his next picture, the Jonah Hill-toplining comedy "The Sitter." Following a college dropout who has to take his three babysitting charges across town to buy drugs for his girlfriend, it's a script we really enjoyed when we read it, and features a very promising cast, including Ari Graynor as the girl, "Where The Wild Things Are" star Max Records as one of the kids, and Sam Rockwell and "Curb Your Enthusiasm"'s J.B. Smoove as Hill's drug dealer nemeses.

David Gordon Green is a machine (best rhyme ever). The director spent the last year putting the finishing touches on his upcoming medieval stoner comedy "Your Highness," acting as a producer on the cult hit comedy show "Eastbound & Down" (sorry, we actually don't understand the appeal here) and this fall, he's been shooting yet another comedy, the very fun sounding "The Sitter."

As "21 Jump Street" keeps moving forward toward its production start next year with Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum in the lead roles, the biggest wishlist hopeful/question surrounding the film is if Johnny Depp would make a cameo appearance in the film version of the television show that helped launch his career. Turns out, he'd be game but no one has asked him. Yet.

A Career Move Now Known As 'Doing A Wahlberg'It feels like only a few weeks since we were expressing bafflement at the success of the career of Keanu-esque golem Channing Tatum, who's already worked with Michael Mann, Steven Soderbergh and Kevin Macdonald, and been praised by the likes of Nicolas Winding Refn. So we won't dwell on it here. Instead, we'd like to praise the guy for a second, because, like fellow heartthrobs Joseph Gordon-Levitt and James Franco, you can certainly say that it's hard to predict the actor's next move.

Playlist correspondent Drew Morton had a chance to sit down with "The Green Hornet" co-scribe and Seth Rogen writing partner Evan Goldberg in San Diego during Comic-Con 2010. The writer of films like "Superbad" and "Pineapple Express" was not only friendly and personable, but extremely forthcoming about all his upcoming projects, some of them with and without Rogen.
