You might remember that earlier in the year it was reported that Warner Bros. were waiting to see how "Man Of Steel" fared before deciding on "Justice League." And, well, duh. It's a move that only makes sense given that there's already a lot riding on the Superman reboot, and given the millions of dollars involved, everything involving DC Comics is a chess move of epic proportions. It's not exactly a shock WB roped Christopher Nolan in to bring this quality brand to "Man Of Steel" as an executive producer, and it seems they want to keep key creative talent in the mix if/when they proceed on "Justice League."

In every interview he did last year -- including our interview with him from December -- Christopher Nolan maintained that his take on Bruce Wayne and Batman was over with “The Dark Knight Rises.” Now, however, Latino Review (via Forbes) is reporting that Warner Bros. -- after possibly scrapping Will Beall’s draft -- is in talks to get the secretive director on board for the future of their superhero slate with a little help from his friends.

Somewhere, Mark Millar is smirking. After bluntly saying that a "Justice League" movie is an "excellent way of losing $200 million" it seems that Warner Bros. are already more than aware of the risks. This rumor has been one we've been hearing here and there recently, but if these whispers are true, it means that the geekgasm superhero dream-team movie is going to see a new script.

While Warner Bros. attempt to play catch-up to Marvel and their host of box-office superhero successes, over at 20th Century Fox, things are a bit more hushed, as the studio attempts to find ways to blend the X-Men, Fantastic Four, and Deadpool into compelling entries. But fear not, brash remarks and exaggerated claims live on in Fox's consultant Mark Millar, and he's got a few for WB's high-stakes venture.

While there have been plenty of rumors surrounding Warner Bros.' "Justice League" -- from the (kinda obvious) lineup to the supposed plot centering on baddie Darkseid -- there has been little, if any, official word on the movie. Right now, the studio is keeping their eyes firmly on their Superman reboot "Man Of Steel," and that movie could determine the future of the superhero team-up flick.

Latino Review continues their run of comic movie rumorin'. Today's rumor du jour involves the good folks at that site revealing that producers of 2015's planned "Justice League" movie have nailed down a cast of characters for the film, and are limiting the famously huge roster to five core members. We always knew Superman and Batman would be a part of the group, having their own separate franchises with this year's "Man Of Steel" and a possibly forthcoming "The Batman" on it's way. But who would join them?

So, about a week ago rumors surfaced that the brewing "Justice League" movie would have the God-like Darkseid as the villain of the superhero team-up movie. But just what will his nefarious plot be? Well, if this latest buzz is anything to go by, his scheme will certainly require a few hands on deck.

I had the opportunity and good fortune to sit down with director Christopher Nolan last week during some Oscar luncheons to discuss this week’s release of “The Dark Knight Rises” and the complete “Dark Knight Rises Trilogy” on Blu-ray/DVD. Ever the well-coiffed and relatable gentleman, Nolan is obviously known for his secrecy, but I was struck with how carefully he jiu jitsu’d around certain questions without ever coming across as deeply cagey. Instead, perhaps like his silent and swift ‘Dark Knight Rises’ protagonist, it’s as if he shook your hand with a smile and moments later you realized your wallet was gone.

If all goes according to plan, three massive geek movies are coming in 2015: "Star Wars: Episode 7," "The Avengers 2" and "Justice League," which equals non-stop rumors for the next little while. In fact, it was just last week that we dealt with the quick rise and fall of the "Joseph-Gordon-Levitt-is-the-new-Batman" rumors and now, "Justice League" may or may not have picked its villain.
