At this point, we're beginning to suspect that in order to cast her still-untitled film about the mission to kill Osama Bin Laden, Kathryn Bigelow incepted us, found out all our favorite actors and actresses, and put them in her movie. First, she cast Australian actor Jason Clarke from "Brotherhood," and "Parks & Recreation" scene stealer Chris Pratt. Then came rising star Joel Edgerton, of "Warrior" not-quite-fame, along with "Carlos" star Edgar Ramirez, 'Tinker Tailor' stand out Mark Strong, and The Playlist's Woman of the Year 2011, Jessica Chastain. And after that? The always-wonderful Jennifer Ehle, and Coach Taylor himself, "Friday Night Lights" and "Super 8" star Kyle Chandler, along with Harold Perrineau Jr, Nash Edgerton and Fares Fares.

Well, the cameras are now rolling on Kathryn Bigelow's upcoming film in India, and the picture is already gaining controversy. Of course, there is still that ongoing (and pointless) Pentagon investigation about whether or not Bigelow and screenwriter Mark Boal were leaked classified documents, but now a different kind of concern has hit the production.

As you might have noticed, the 2011/2012 awards season is finally over: the Oscars were on Sunday night, "The Artist" was the big winner, Meryl Streep finally got her third statuette, and "Hugo" basically won everything else. And so we get to put all this talk of what might get nominated, what might win, and who will definitely win, to bed for a year.

On the back of an offer out to Joel Kinnanman to take on the titular role in Jose Padhida's "Robocop" reboot, it looks like another acting protege of young Swedish helmer Daniel Espinosa is making waves in Hollywood. After featuring in both "Snabba Cash" films and "Safe House," the memorably named Fares Fares has now been cast in Kathryn Bigelow's upcoming Osama Bin Laden flick formerly known as "Kill Bin Laden."

Harold Perrineau Will Search For Osama Bin Laden Instead Of Walt In Kathryn Bigelow's 'Kill Bin Laden'

Of the many, many problems in the later seasons of the ultimately deflating "Lost," it was the Michael/Walt storyline that got the most bungled. We'll save our diatribe for another day, but that whole plot thread truly got ridiculous from the moment they tried to bring the pair back into the storyline after they leave on the boat. Since the show, Perrineau hasn't quite found anything as high profile, but his next job should remedy that rather quickly.

If Osama Bin Laden weren't already dead, we might fear for his safety purely based on the strength of the cast Kathryn Bigelow is assembling for her (still untitled) "Kill Bin Laden" flick. Oscar winner Mark Boal ("The Hurt Locker") wrote the script and Joel Edgerton and Jessica Chastain will head a cast that also includes Mark Strong (as a good guy this time...surely?), Jason Clarke, Edgar Ramirez, Kyle Chandler and Chris Pratt. And now the production has added two more to bolster that cast.

With the male leading cast of Kathryn Bigelow's untitled project aka "Kill Bin Laden" featuring two Aussies (Joel Edgerton, Jason Clarke), one Brit (Mark Strong) and a Venezuelan (Edgar Ramirez) it's about time another American came aboard to join Chris Pratt. And you don't get much more heartland flavor than you do with "Friday Night Lights" and "Super 8" star Kyle Chandler.

Well, here's a piece of good news. Attached way back last spring for Kathryn Bigelow's upcoming untitled Seal Team 6 movie (aka "Kill Bin Laden"), we began to get worried about Joel Edgerton's involvement when the project began further casting this fall -- adding Jason Clarke -- and his name remained conspicuously absent.

If you haven't tuned in to "Parks & Recreation" yet you are missing one of the best comedies on television right now (and far superior to the overrated "Community," sorry, it's true). The show is poised to give everyone involved a serious career boost (and it some cases it has with both Aziz Ansari and Aubrey Plaza moving into bigger film roles), but it's the unlikely Chris Pratt who may rise above the rest of his cast. As we noted in our 25 Best Movie Moments Of 2011 he shows some impressive range as Scott Hatteberg in "Moneyball," and if everything goes according to plan he may stretching those dramatic chops even further.
