Though UK audiences were able to see the film months ago, Andrew Dominik’s third feature, “Killing Them Softly,” is finally landing in North America this Friday (read our review from Cannes here). And the studio has released a short behind-the-scenes video along with a brief clip from the film to drum up excitement.

When Australian director Andrew Dominik and ultra-handsome super-star Brad Pitt last teamed up, it was for "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford," a brilliant, elliptical ode to the old west and one of the very best movies of the past decade. Five very long years later, the pair have reteamed for "Killing Them Softly," which opens this weekend and, as it turns out, is just as brilliant as their previous collaboration.

Jackie Cogan needs to hire a couple of guys to take down some low-lives who robbed a high stakes poker game controlled by the mob, but there's a problem. The economy is in the toilet and the squeeze is on, so he's only given the cash to contract one person, and Mickey is the guy for the job. Though he might not be in the best shape to pull it off.

In Andrew Dominik's "Killing Them Softly," loose lips sink ships, and that's something veteran hitman Jackie Cogan, played by Brad Pitt, understands, though why no one else gets it baffles him. And as this new trailer for the film underlines, boasts can come to haunt you in the future.

To help you sort the wheat from the chaff, we've put together a list of the 10 best films to see over the rest of November. Check it out below, and let us know what you're looking forward to most.

Posters, posters, posters, posters, posters and now even more posters. If there has been one distinct thread through The Weinstein Company's marketing campaign for "Killing Them Softly," it has been an array of terrifically stylized one sheets for the movie. But whether that translates into audience interest or box office success remains to be seen.

When the squeeze is on, everyone suffers. That is just one of the overarching themes of Andrew Dominik's "Killing Them Softly," a hard-boiled crime tale that has bigger thematic ambitions. Brad Pitt stars as Jackie Cogan, a hitman and enforcer who subcontracts out a kill and watches as the events around the heist of a high stakes card game has repercussions both up and down the criminal chain of command. As we noted at Cannes, it's a brilliant movie, and Pitt recently discussed how Dominik chose to approach the film.

In case you haven't been able to tell by the pretty excellent posters for "Killing Them Softly," the film is as much about America and the price of doing business as it is about the "plot" (such as it is) about a high stakes poker game that gets jacked by two hapless would be criminals. There is a pretty pointed and sneering tenor to the picture that doesn't flinch from its politics, which expresses the belief that the trickle down theory is leaving everyone on the bottom with nothing.

Credit where credit is due: The Weinstein Company is certainly making a push for Andrew Dominik's "Killing Them Softly" that will hopefully result in a solid reception for the film at the box office (and with awards-type folks). And unlike the baffling and dull infographic road they went down with "Lawless" (and are starting to go down with "Django Unchained"), they are instead putting out some killer one sheets for the movie that will certainly get more eyes on them.
