While Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher formed the core that would go on to create one of the biggest sci-fi franchise in history with "Star Wars," things could have played out much, much differently. Sissy Spacek or Cindy Williams could have been Princess Leia, while a gallery of tough dudes like Kurt Russell, Nick Nolte, Sylvester Stallone and Christopher Walken were all in the running for Han Solo. Another actor in the mix? Al Pacino. Yes really.

Today, believe it or not, is the four year anniversary since the theatrical release of J.J. Abrams’ “Star Trek.” Time sure does move fast unless, of course, you’re a Trekkie. A brand new clip from “Star Trek Into Darkness” has just been posted online and while it’s hardly any consolation for such a long wait, you know you want to check it out anyway. Besides, the movie’s release is only a few days away. If you can wait four years, surely another couple of days couldn’t hurt… right?

Frankly, we've kind of been ignoring the plethora of "what-robot-will-appear" reports for "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" mostly because it's so fucking boring and it doesn't really matter when 90% of the people going to watch this thing will be there to see Michael Bay blow up some shit real good, not find out if Bumblebee's story arc will be completed.
