If a trailer's going to bow on "Good Morning America," it feels like you're safe in making some assumptions on the content of that trailer. Something frothy, we would imagine, in the vein of "New Year's Eve" or "Eat Pray Love," perhaps. At the very most, something from the latest Disney film, bearing in mind that ABC is a subsidiary of Disney. Not on our shortlist? A violent, dystopian sci-fi film about children made to fight each other to the death for the benefit of the general public.

Wait a minute? Didn't we have a shortlist on this already? Sort of. A couple weeks back it was reported that Ben Foster, Paul Dano, Aaron Paul and Milo Ventimiglia were all going to be reading for the part of Bruce Willis' offspring in "A Good Day To Die Hard." Well, none of those guys survived except for the "Breaking Bad" star and he's got three people fighting him for the job, that he might not get anyway due to scheduling commitments for the AMC show.

Dane DeHaan, Thomas McDonnell, Augustus Prew & Jake Abel Also In The MixTake note, young directors. This is why you attach yourself to projects before your next movie comes out. While the middle performance and dreadful reviews for the pretty idiotic "In Time" would have sidelined any director, Andrew Niccol was savvy enough to sign on to "The Host," an adaptation of a novel by "Twilight" author Stephenie Meyer and with a release date already pegged, this one is beginning to cast up.

"Hunger Games" fans already know he's gonna melt hearts (or not) as Gale in the upcoming film, and he recently booked a role with the old fogies in "The Expendables 2." Now he's stepping out of the franchise world to take the lead of a sci-fi romance all on his own.

The Weinstein Company may have another Oscar darling on their hands. A year after grabbing $400 million worldwide and scads of major awards for “The King’s Speech,” The Brothers W paid $7 million for the domestic rights (via Deadline) to another film about British aristocracy, nabbing “The Iron Lady” starring Meryl Streep as Margaret Thatcher. Producers only showed five minutes of the film before the bidding started between the Weinsteins, Summit and Relativity, though all someone had to say was “Streep as Thatcher” to ensure this would be a major purchase and, as planned by TWC, a high profile late ‘11 release. Expect it to be a big dog in the awards race.

Finally, the wait for fangirls (and boys) everywhere is over. Lionsgate announced today that Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth are officially cast -- after being outed as frontrunners last week -- as Peeta and Gale, respectively, in the company's huge tentpole adaptation "The Hunger Games." The boys join female lead Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss; Hutcherson plays Lawrence's love interest when she's placed in an arena to fight for her life, while Hemsworth is Lawrence's best friend waiting at home. The decision comes at the end of a long wait for casting choices. Other candidates for the parts included Hunter Parrish of "Weeds" and Lucas Till of the upcoming "X-Men: First Class" for Peeta and Disney star Drew Roy for Gale.
