We've already covered these extensively in our Most Anticipated Films Of 2013 Part 1 and Part 2, and if the studios have done their job, you probably already know everything you need to know about them. But with the holidays over, the marketing machine is getting switched back on, and USA Today has dropped a few new images worth peering at from some movies that are hoping to be blockbuster-sized hits.

"Superman is a completely different character than Batman. So you can't in any way use the same template. But David Goyer had this, I thought, brilliant way to make Superman relatable and relevant for his audience," executive producer Christopher Nolan recently told us. "Zack [Snyder] has built on that and I think it's incredible what he's putting together." And after seeing this? We totally agree.

One of the most whimsical and enjoyable interviews of our time at the Marrakech International Film Festival came courtesy of iconic British actor Sir Terence Stamp (“Superman II,” “Far from the Madding Crowd,” “The Limey,” among many others), who was in town to present his latest film “Song for Marion” (our review from TIFF is here), in which he stars with fellow Marrakech jury member Gemma Arterton and Vanessa Redgrave. Stamp’s career stretches back to the early ‘60s, when his otherworldly handsomeness saw him teamed, professionally and romantically, with some of the most beautiful women of the age. And in recent times, he's become a reliable presence in Hollywood, ranging from “Yes Man” to “Get Smart” from “Wanted” to “The Adjustment Bureau."

I had the opportunity and good fortune to sit down with director Christopher Nolan last week during some Oscar luncheons to discuss this week’s release of “The Dark Knight Rises” and the complete “Dark Knight Rises Trilogy” on Blu-ray/DVD. Ever the well-coiffed and relatable gentleman, Nolan is obviously known for his secrecy, but I was struck with how carefully he jiu jitsu’d around certain questions without ever coming across as deeply cagey. Instead, perhaps like his silent and swift ‘Dark Knight Rises’ protagonist, it’s as if he shook your hand with a smile and moments later you realized your wallet was gone.

You might want to stay up late on December 13th. With "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" hitting theaters at one minute after midnight on December 14th, audiences will be treated to the brand new trailer for Zack Snyder's "Man Of Steel" and it will arrive online around the same time. But too help alleviate the wait, a new poster has dropped and it will certainly help spur lots of speculation.

Let the speculatin' begin (again). During the entire press run for Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight Rises," the drum beat played by everyone around the picture, from the director through each member of the cast, was that it was the end. There would be no fourth movie. Christian Bale said he wouldn't suit up again (unless Nolan wanted him to) and even with Joseph Gordon-Levitt revealed to be Robin/the new Batman, the actor insisted that there was no need for any spinoffs. Never say never, we suppose...there may be something transpiring....

Such are the days we live in that Zack Snyder's "Man Of Steel" is still half a year away from hitting theaters, and questions are already being asked about a sequel and how it may or may not tie into Warner Bros. plans for "Justice League." Actually, the latter question has been asked as far back as spring of 2011, and if anything, we've seen a slow erosion from an outright denial to what amounts to "no comment," more or less.

With “Sucker Punch” attempting to balance sincerity and absurdity in a side-by-side existence, director Zack Snyder seems primed to finally tilt matters over into the former camp with his much-anticipated Superman reboot, “Man of Steel.” Following the tentpole's low-key unveiling during Comic Con, executive producers Christopher Nolan and David S. Goyer have also promised a psychological inquiry into the comic book hero as never seen before, and now Snyder himself has offered a similarly unique comprehension of the property.

It looks like Warner Bros. wants to see as much green from "Man Of Steel" as they can. This summer, the cat was let out of the bag very early by an accidental post on the official IMAX page, but now it has been confirmed: Zack Snyder's Superman movie is getting spit-shined for a 3D and IMAX release (while also coming in regular 2D, of course).

Superman brings with it a lot of baggage. With a cinematic history, and of course, an even longer one in the pages of the comics, certain segments of fans are expecting Zack Snyder's upcoming "Man Of Steel" to at least pay tribute to its predecessors in some fashion. Portions of various fanboy quarters thrive on this kind of stuff, like a reference to "Superman II" is an entry to a secret club. But of course, with next summer's blockbuster being shephereded by Christopher Nolan and penned by David Goyer, it seems they are wisely avoiding going down that path.
