Max Landis is one of the most promising rising stars in Hollywood right now, and thankfully that doesn’t seem to have anything to do with the 27 year-old trading on his father’s name. Landis got himself a whole heap of positive attention thanks to his brilliant script for this year’s “Chronicle,” and he also has a lot of promising writing projects in the works. There’s “Chronicle 2” (although John Landis has said that Fox aren’t entirely happy with the direction his son has taken the sequel), the superhero TV series “Vigilant,” a Frankenstein project with Paul McGuigan attached to direct and the mysterious “Amnesty” with Ron Howard to name just a few. So what’s next for Landis? Well, directing, naturally.
