While Tim Burton eventually scratched his musical itch with 2007's "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street," it appears at one time he had an even more ambitious plan in mind. A project that would bring together the biggest pop star in the world and one of the most famed horror movies of all time.

Last year prior to the release of "The Tree Of Life," we revisted the films of Terrence Malick, learning everything we could about them. And while we exhaustively delved into "The Thin Red Line," it seems there is even more to learn about the film, including one nugget of totally random, but interesting bit of trivia. The King Of Pop and The King Of Being Reclusive both met one day about the movie.

Hot on the heels of Dr. Conrad Murray's involuntary manslaughter conviction, Variety is reporting that John Branca, the executor of the Michael Jackson estate, has begun shopping around a biopic of the beloved singer. Apparently discussions have begun with Ivan Reitman and Tom Pollock's Montecito Picture Company about acquiring the rights, because if there's anyone you want to tell the complex, multifaceted story of the greatest pop entertainer of the century, it's certainly the guys who brought us "Road Trip" and "Hotel for Dogs." Talk about Bad.

Biopic On His Younger Years Also In The WorksEven though he's since passed on, that hasn't stopped Michael Jackson from being a moonwalking money making machine. The pop singer earned a staggering $275 million last year from beyond the grave, topping the Top Earning Dead Celebrity list (yes, someone actually keeps track of this). But the gravy train won't stop there as plans are afoot to turn "Thriller" into a feature length movie.
