Already conquering the stage, with a Tony award under this belt for his turn in "Red," Eddie Redmayne is now looking to conquer the film world as well. He's got a meaty co-starring role in the forthcoming "My Week With Marilyn" and has the indie flick "Hick" in the bag with Blake Lively and Chloe Moretz. Now he's jumping onto a project that is already locked and loaded for the 2012 Oscar season.

Of all the creative types working today, one would imagine that possibly the least likely to threaten to pick up an EGOT (managing to win an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar and a Tony, a feat managed by only ten people in history) are the gleefully puerile "South Park" and "Team America" creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone. But somehow, they're heading in that direction. Already the holder of several Emmys for "South Park," their widely acclaimed smash-hit Broadway musical "The Book of Mormon" picked up a record haul of Tonys earlier in the summer, and the cast recording already looks a virtual lock to win in its category at the Grammys next year.

"Hunger Games" teaser trailer! -- the biggest news belong the baby bump sported by Beyoncé. That's right universe, the "Single Ladies" singer and Jay-Z are procreating, so get yourselves ready (the fetus even has its own Twitter account). But alas, while we await the momentous day when that child arrives in the world, her collaboration with Clint Eastwood on a new take on "A Star Is Born" will have to wait.

With an Oscar now under his belt for "The Fighter" and proving his box office chops with Christopher Nolan's Batman movies, once Christian Bale has wrapped up "The Dark Knight Rises" he's going to have his pick of the litter with Variety laying out the numerous projects that are being sent his way. The trade says Bale will make no decisions until he's done with Batman in November -- and there is absolutely no mention of the Terrence Malick project that cropped up just a few days ago -- but if anything, these projects are interesting because, for the most part, they aren't tentpole-driven fare.
