Will Probably Look Great, Sound AwfulWith "Noah" not set to film until next year, and now probably looking for a new leading man since Christian Bale is gonna spend his 2012 tossing back brews with Terrence Malick as they embark on two films together, Darren Aronofsky is likely looking to keep his directing skills a well oiled machine, so what the hell, he's just gonna go direct a video for Metallica and Lou Reed.

EXCLUSIVE: There are few bands right now that deliver no frills, rootsy, blues influenced rock 'n roll, but the The Black Keys are easily the best of the bunch. The duo have been at it for well on a decade now, with six albums that have seen the band both expand and mature their sound into a fiercely honed shape that is instantly identifiable, yet uniquely their own. With three Grammy awards now under their belts thanks to their latest album Brothers and the smash single "Tighten Up," and with their next disc El Camino arriving next month, it looks like the pair are looking to dip their toes into some new waters.

Says Tracy Morgan Wants It TooWith the recent buzz about the gestating Tupac and N.W.A. biopics, we kind of forgot this was happening at all, but waaaaay back in 2009 Wu-Tang Clan member, actor, director, chess master and producer RZA first hinted that a biopic about the eccentric and amazing Ol' Dirty Bastard was being bandied about. "We have talked about [a biopic film]. His estate is pretty confused, like any estate is in our country. The estate is kind of confused on what to do, and all the rights and all that shit, but it’s definitely been talked about," he said. And it looks like that talk has developed into something substantial.

And More From The Director On The Alien Invasion Film From the moment the lights dimmed in the Alamo Drafthouse where we first saw Joe Cornish's comedic sci-fi thriller "Attack the Block" at this year's SXSW film festival, we were hooked. Since then, we've watched as the film has gone through wild ups-and-downs: first the rapturous response in Austin (where it ended up taking home an Audience Award), to its acquisition by Sony's Screen Gems division, to the somewhat limited theatrical release it got this summer. It felt very much like those that saw "Attack the Block" absolutely adored it… it's just that not many people saw it.

He's got his next feature film "We Bought A Zoo" being prepped for a December 23rd bow, and early in the new year will see HBO release his Elton John documentary "The Union." But before that, he's got "Pearl Jam Twenty," a comprehensive look at the band in celebration of their twenty years of making music.
