True Detective
It looks like "The Hunger Games" pals Woody Harrelson and Liam Hemsworth are eager to spend their time away from the YA franchise together as well. Future bromance? We'll see, but this project does sound interesting. The pair will star in the revenge western "By Way Of Helena."

Deliver Us From Evil
The opening fifteen to twenty minutes of “Deliver Us From Evil” find co-writer and director Scott Derrickson delivering a pretty clear statement of intent. Within that span of time, soldiers in Iraq stumble across an unspeakable horror, a street weary detective finds a dead baby in a dumpster, and not long after, that same cop finds himself in the lion’s den at the zoo, with his gun drawn on two of the approaching big cats. There is nothing particularly subtle about Derrickson’s second time around exorcism genre, following 2005’s “The Exorcism Of Emily Rose,” and that’s part of the problem with this Jerry Bruckheimer produced exercise in horror (surprise, surprise).

Deliver Us From Evil
The horror genre is continually trying to find new ways to scare audiences, and often that means twisting conventions into new shapes. So the idea of a fright flick in the guise of a cop movie is at least a pretty interesting one, even if the result still kinda looks like your usual exorcism/demon/creature movie.

We’re still a couple of months away from “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire,” but Lionsgate is already moving forward with the two-part finale “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay.” THR is reporting that “Game of Thrones” actor Natalie Dormer is joining the finale as “Cressida, a director who joins the rebellion.” MILD SPOILERS—Jennifer Lawrence’s Katniss consents to being part of the rebellion’s propaganda machine and Dormer’s character will aid in the crafting of the materials meant to inspire the people of Panem to rise up against the capitol. Dormer will appear in both parts of the film.

Though he’s still a current cast-member on “Saturday Night Live,” Jason Sudeikis still finds the time in his schedule for the big screen. And while he’s always been part of an ensemble, the “Horrible Bosses” actor is set to be the love interest in his very own romantic comedy opposite an actress who’s been in some hit comedies of her own.

Despite the apex of the genre occurring forty years ago, the past few years has seen an increase in exorcism films: “The Rite,” “The Devil Inside,” and two at-bats for “The Last Exorcism” among others. And in case you forgot, last fall it was reported that “Sinister” director Scott Derrickson was heading back to the exorcism well (he wrote and directed 2005’s “The Exorcism Of Emily Rose”) with “Beware The Night” and he’s lined up a nifty cast to join Eric Bana.

SXSW '12 Review: Director Jay Chandrasekhar's Tentative Sincerity Steps Undermined In Uneven, Sophomoric 'Babymakers'

If you thought that “Knocked Up” was too mature a take on impending fatherhood, then “Babymakers” just might be the movie for you. Directed by Jay Chandrasekhar, it follows the comical misadventures of a husband who is reluctant to discover whether or not his sperm is “confused” – and if so, how he’ll handle getting his wife pregnant. Marginally more sophisticated than Chandrasekhar’s efforts with the comedy troupe Broken Lizard, “Babymakers” starts off solidly before getting sidetracked by set pieces that take over the entire narrative – and ultimately reveal how little of one there was in the first place.

Brett Ratner has never been shy of making his appreciation of the female form known, and when it comes to his own junk, the director is his own biggest fan. So who can blame him when can't remember the name of somebody he slept with?
