So, will the romance of the open road, and a whole other America waiting in the distance in "On The Road" inspire young people everywhere to journey across this land? Or at the very least get them to read Jack Kerouac's book? That remains to be seen, but the spirit of the beats is alive in the upcoming film from Walter Salles.

It seems that this year at the Cannes Film Festival, it's going to be the young blood earning the attention of the paparazzi. Snap-happy cameramen will surely be saving their zoom lenses for Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Zac Efron who will all be featuring in films unspooling at the Palais. And that's a sentence we thought we'd never actually type.

After dropping a Viggo Mortensen character one sheet last week, the marketing team behind Walter Salles' "On The Road" have taken a curious left turn. Instead of zeroing in some of the more well known young names like Garrett Hedlund or Kristen Stewart, they've instead foisted the latest poster honor to...Tom Sturridge. Who?
